Hey sorry guys for not updating you all. I had an emergency at work and a couple of us had to fly up north to the San Fran bay area for server work last week until yesterday.
Didn't get to work on them and have them shipped out midweek as planned.
I'm off work tomorrow so I'll be finishing them up tonight to be shipped tomorrow. Again, sorry for the delay in your order.

So it looks like the first 5 will be getting theirs shipped out tomorrow.
1. Socket7 - red
2. jaq61 - white/red/red
3. nuke0907 - blue
4. 07rx8gtblack - red/red
5. zpepe - white
While making the 6th mold, part of it ripped off and the other side bonded to the mold.
It had a good run, I think. Was able to make about 70 molds before it crapped out.
I'll be ordering more silicon mold tomorrow.

Shaz, is there a chance that you could post a ordered list of people receiving their puddle lights. I don't mind the delay I am just trying to figure out when I can sort expect them. By the way man, thanks for the hard work on these. I am hella excited and can't wait to take them with me the rotary rally.

check out the first page. looks like you are 7th. you'll have to wait for him to make another mold first though, since the other one got a little messed up.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your interest in my Puddle Lights! The lights are the same concept of the "Derwankel Puddle Lights" lighting. 194 LEDs are used for the bulbs. Pictures are below of what they look like. Please understand that the color is more subtle than the images show. Those are night shots of the colors I am shipping with my puddle lights.

UPDATE 12.03.07: Now shipping.
UPDATE 11.15.07: Added price and accepting pre-orders. I'm making the puddle lights this weekend and will be shipping them out next week. Those already on the list, please PM me on more info to PayPal money and let me know what LED color you want.
UPDATE 11.09.07: Everything is set except for my order for a gram scale to come in so I can make the clear part on the underside of the puddle light enclosure. I should receive this by next week so *crosses fingers* I hope to be taking orders by mid next week. Also, added photos of puddle lights with blue lighting.
UPDATE 10.19.07: I have the preliminary items finished. Here's 2 pictures of the finished molds I created. Only revision I need to do is find a better plastic (ie. withstand 300 degrees in black [for the main part of mold housing] and clear [for bottom piece where LED will shine light]). Also, I need to create instructions to install this.
I should have this hashed out by this weekend coming up as I am going to call a couple plastic manufactures to tell me what their recommendations is for a strong, thin plastic that can withstand 250-300 deg. I chose that high of degrees because I don't want it melting or accidentally warping on whomever is interested in this. Both sides fit snug in the side view mirror.
Other than that, they WILL be shipped with LEDs. Blue and White initially. Other colors upon request. They have enough wire to route from the side view mirror down to the curtesy light on the inside door panel and will tap into those wires with vampire clips.
UPDATE 10.26.07: Just ordered the casting resin for the molding today. I should have it by the end of next week (Nov. 1st or 2nd) and then I'll be able to produce them for you all. I'll be PMing you those who are listed with more information beginning of next week.

UPDATE 10.04.07: Manufacture that I ordered for the plastic resin sent me the wrong amount so I can't open the jugs right now in case if they need me to send back the shipment. Waiting on their correspondence to correct this issue. On a good note though, the design is completed.

I'll be PMing each of you guys (those 5 I said that were shipped out) to have an extra item put in your packages. I'll be driving them out tomorrow to the post office to see them off correctly.
Also, I have 2-3 more pairs of puddle lights I found so a couple more people will have theirs shipped out tomorrow also. I'll put a definate list of those who have had their lights shipped out.
