BUMP - getting closer!!!!!! I'm going over the curriculum tomorrow and flying out.

 

Hmm. Windows 8.1 doesn't seem to recognize the Accessport. I upgraded to newest firmware on another machine but AP manager and and AccessTuber can't find AP plugged in. Anyone else have this similar issue. If the PC was windows 7 this wouldn't be a problem. To run virtual windows on my PC I need windows 8 PRO, which I don't have.

Anyone else have a different solution?

On another note, I assume I won't need "team viewer" if I will be physically present on location in Seattle?

 

A friend recently has this same issue, if you do not have the latest firmware from cobb it will not work, and they charge $100 to upgrade it. At least they did for him.

Damn, this is 9am pacific time? Thats noon for me, how late is it going.

 

I'll go as long as you guys want. The class is 2-4 hours maybe depending on questions and lunch break, and then the hands on takes between 2-8 or more hours....it really depends. The one I taught in Tampa was almost 14 hours; but not everyone stayed for all of it.

That is why I went to a 2 day format for this one. Those that are going to want to do a lot of hands on can do it the next day.

 

Gotcha, I am in more for the lecture. But will more than likely stay around for the first couple hands on cars. How much is going to be included in the downloadable copy, just the lecture or all of it.

Also will you send us a meeting request or just dial in using you contacts at the given time?

Well this is going to be a little Barbaric but I am going to be bringing my PC tower and monitor for the tuning course. One laptop won't recognize AP because of Windows 8 and the other is a Mac where I will have to run windows virtually to operate Accesstuner. I will bring a couple long extension chords to plug in wherever I have too....

Nobody laugh at me! lol... So embarrassed. ; )

Do we have an itenerary for the actual class schedule with times, or just the outline you have posted on the first post?

You stated somewhere in this thread that you need to have the stock map on the ecu--but this will be apart of the class. For the webinar folks, do you recommend having that prepared already?

Final question, can you explain how the "hands on" portion of day 1 and day 2 will work for the webinar folks?

alright, after finding out last night that my passport expired a little over a week ago, and dealing with that all this morning. I'm now hanging out in the Applebee's in Kent. At least I think it's in Kent...Easy! is there anything to do for a couple hours while I wait for my buddy to check in at our hotel?
