I have to get my trunk lid and bumper worked on B4 the spoiler goes on - might be next week. I have other mods I need to get done also before our 1/21/06 dyno day.

My new house does not have a garage - so I having one built. I can't work on the 8 in the Pacific Northwest Rain... I miss a warm garage.

 

Swoope, I should have taking a picture of your spoiler on my car? I laid it on there to see how it was going to look! The pics that Jay have posted doesn't do it justice I don't think. Is it Tues yet?

It's not that your camera sucks, it just looks so different in person. I think you need pics of a full car with the spoiler on it , not close ups! I'm not disappointed at all, can't wait to get mine and get it painted !

note on the install.....

test fit on car, i know you have done this already..

get some wax paper and lay on the top of the trunk where the 3m tape will hit the car....

place the spoiler on the wax paper with the rear of the spoiler overhanging the back of the trunk lid...

center spoiler on trunk...

push spoiler forward and allow the tape from the back of the spoiler to grab the trunk...

slightly pull up on the forward edge or the spoiler and pull out the wax paper..

push down all along the leading edge of spoiler.....

step back and enjoy the view!!!!!!!

Your right - be careful. I almost screwed my up today. We had a small Sun break, so I ran out cleaned up the trunk with alcohol - let it dry and installed. If I had the wax paper idea I would have used it, because I almost had mine stuck in the wrong place.

yea i almost screwed up also, that is why i took the time to figure out how do it with the wax paper.....
