It's been 15 days since Carlos told me he shipped my pod and I have yet to see it. I am not happy and I will be giving the detective a call soon.

 

Did he provide tracking?

 

Carlos said that due to the fact that the package change hands (from US postal service to Canada Post), he could not provide the tracking number.

 

Strange... considering we've shipped plenty of things at work to Canada and we've provided tracking #. The USPS is a bit slow on their system, but 15 days is silly.

Perhaps he shipped it out later... (Since he's been doing that... tells you he will ship out Monday, instead it will be Friday, and if you badger him about it, he'll say you're an idiot and that you didn't appreciate it... blah blah blah... etc etc) Oh wells.

Good luck on that, wonder if Morgan has received her Free raffle Pod.

 

I'm confused. Carlos said somewhere about the price of the pods doesn't include being shipped by express. (ie. Fedex, UPS...). I believed he said that he shipped it by the cheapest rate.

So are you saying that US Postal Service is suppose to provide tracking numbers on all packages, even to Canada?

 

I'm not defending him but I don't think after all of this he would have sent everyone elses and not yours. I just think that if he sent it the cheapest way it will take a while to Canada. I sent a playstation once to Canada and it took almost 3 weeks to get there using the cheapest rate possible. Maybe he'll respond to this thread but after everything who knows if we will see him again on this forum.

I'd say give it until Monday and if you don't receive it by then and there's no response from him then you can call the detective on it.

I am shipping out my Amber corners right now to another member... did the process over the internet at www.USPS.com... provided me with a tracking #. I asked my secretary whether they provide tracking # for out of the country and she said yes. Took me 3-5 minutes to finish packing, typing the address, and labeling. Makes you wonder why it would take Carlos so long even with 20 Pods, he can at least do about 5-10 a day without it taking too much of his time.

I know that FedEX provides a tracking # out of the country, and so does UPS.

 

Am I the only one left to get my pod?

 

I'm not sure I have confirmation from 7 members including myself and Carlos would make 8, he said that a couple of member had dropped out of the g/b so I"m not even sure how many were due the pods I need to look through the thread. I'll check in a bit I'm at work right now so I don't have time to go through all of the pages unless someone else would like to do it and then I can compare what confirmations I have with them.

You should still have received a confirmation #... should show when he actually shipped.

I have sent you several e-mails and have copies of all of them where
I asked if you recieved your POD. It was shipped on the day I said,
if I said I actually shipped it then it is shipped... When I said I
was going to ship them a few months ago I hade every intension to do
so; things came up...

I do not have access to the forum anymore so cannot post there, when
I shipped it priority mail the postal worker said standard
confirmations do not work in Canada because they are not the ones
scanning the package when it is shipped...

You should get your POD soon...

Perhaps standard confirmations may not work... that's strange.. since Tracking # still work. We've shipped to Canada, Mexico, and even to Japan. All of which came with tracking #s and had verification of the person that signed for the package.

This was USPS.

Well, fellow forum members, I have finally received my CF dash POD! Talk about a sigh of relief. It is the most beautiful custom piece made for the RX-8 in my opinion. Even though it have taken 6+months and a lot of frustration, I think I'll call it even and forget all the bad feelings I've had towards Carlos. I still hope to hear everyone recieve their PODs as well if that has still yet to happen. Goodluck to everyone!

 

Glad to hear you have received your POD - agree with you about the quality - it's an excellent piece of work.

Maybe Carlos has been unsubscribed to this forum, he told me (in his forwarded email above) that he no longer has access.

I join you in hoping everyone involved will get their pods - Brian (Devious12) - have you heard from everyone now?

I got my pod a couple of weeks ago. Awesome quality.

 

i still haven't recived mine..but i'm not worried about it..i have faith and know that it will come one day
