Btw, for those that supported Cortc, this really is out of hand. I'm not even part of this group buy, but it really makes anyone that thinks about being part of a group buy in the future really hesitant. I've seen some members back up Cortc, some moderators backing him up... and in the end, this is really ridiculous.

Hopefully everything can be resolved, good luck to those in this dilemma.

I'm not so sure thats his correct address. From some of the conversations I've had with him in the past, I thought he lived further West, not in the Coral Gables area. Devious you might wanna try calling the Mercedes Benz dealership in West Palm Beach and asking for him. Last I heard, that was his most recent place of employment. I'll try and look up a number.

I was one of those that supported Carlos when the delays first began. But enough is enough. He needs to come through already.

Thanks for the info I wasn't sure on that address either but it was the only thing I had and it added up only cause of the last name the no returning phone calls and that the kid who answered responded to his fathers name as Carlos.

Which is the West Palm Beach Dealer and they said that there is no Carlos Cortinas only a Jose Cortez and now I keep getting flipped back and forth between departments and now finally I got him on the phone and he states that he is not part of the RX8club.com and does not go by the name of Carlos or Cortc, but he sounded shady so I don't know. I'm getting really pissed off that's all I know and I will keep trying to get a hold of this guy or get the correct address.

I still have not heard from the FBI but i'm sure that might take a couple of weeks.

One more thing... Are we absolutely sure that Cortinas is his last name and the spelling is correct? If not I have a feeling that this was the guy I just had on the phone because Jose's last name sounds too much like Cortc (Cortez) come on now. I'm sending the police to his job.

Whether he's doing fine or not, this whole deal seems shady. He delays people for months about shipping.. shows a pic saying it's ready to be shipped, next day nothing... no word for 3+ months. If I was one of the group buyers, I would be pissed... Even if he had a sappy excuse for this, he could have just said.. "Hey folks, I've had some family emergency, will get all this sorted out..." But no word.

I don't have faith in him...I am far far away from Us and i hate this waiting...I hate him...This whole group buy is very out of hand and he really must here some dirty language....Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

Anyway...I hope we ll find a way...The money are not much and i won't believe if he says:"hey guys my grand-grand-grand father just died..He was 120years old and i couldn't ship the staff for 3months...."...
I am very pissed as you can see and i won't believe anything...I don't believe the photo either...

I got a call today which I was not home for from Detective Ronoso with the economic crime unit of the FBI. I returned his call and left him my cell phone number so he can contact me anytime tomorrow and I will follow up with a call to him tomorrow either way and report back here tomorrow night with the feedback. Hopefully something can come out of this.

Wow, you guys are the definition of suspicious... I was waiting for the rest of the PODS to show up as I wanted to send the best of the batch...

And the address above is not mine, nor is the number you have been calling...

For those who have no faith, all monies received have been sent to the fabricator in California and this group buy is currently at a loss of over U$450.00 dollars as 20-25 where never sold. I financed the rest myself and believe me I do not need the money or the hassle. So if anyone should be upset it's me for trying to get this to others and getting this in return...

If anyone was unhappy, they should have sent a notice through PayPal and a credit would have been issued. I am not in the car parts business and this is not an off the shelf part...

this thread is really tough..
Cortc, I can understand where the guys are coming from.
The constant delays is one thing, but when you tell people that you're going to ship and you don't say anything and things don't arrive, people can get really fustrated. Especially when it's a part that they are hanging out on. It's like a kid waiting to open his pressies at Xmas.
For the large part, I get the feeling that the money os only a small part of their fustration, as a few hundred dollars is not all that much. But it the mis-communication that gotten you in trouble here.
Maybe you could in touch with a Moderator and give him/her you details to help apease the members of the group buy.
Either that or give them the option of getting a product that may only be 99% perfect. custom part or not, it has taken an awful long time.

Ok, 6 ship today and then the rest; was up late last night packing them... A few credits will be issued as well (I would rather loose more money than deal with this BS), I will be reviewing the posts and deciding who will get a POD and who will get thier money back...
