Ok I'm really fed up with this someone please resolve this problem, with updates, and updates that say the pods are going to ship and then we are all left hanging again. I don't really care anymore about excuses and such I want my item and I would expect a Moderator to step in about now!

Does anyone live near Carlos who can say that he isn't jerking us around. I mean to make assumptions due to the fact that we are left hanging all of the time without a definate date of delivery.

Forget getting my money back, I'm pissed, I'm near about to take a trip to Texas to get my money back, that's not a threat just put yourself in our shoes buddy.

I just P/M'd Omicron but I don't think he is online right now. Maybe he can resolve this issue.

You know I'm sorry for being so ruthless and I'm really not even being so, but this has gone on waaaay too long. I'm surprised that only two members in this group buy are this mad!

Ok this is the deal.
I P/M'd Omicron about this situation and he still assures me that Carlos is an honest guy.

He said he would contact him and see what answer he got from Carlos.

In the meantime we can all just be patient (this word has been trown around this thread like rice) and he assures me that Carlos will come through.

You know it's not so much the wait, it's the tease that "hey I'm shipping them" and then he doesn't answer the thread for updates, nor does he tell us when they will ship, or "hey guys they shipped".

Oh boy I give up

Count me in as the 3rd upset member. Also, he's in Florida not Texas.

I was worried for awhile there that we had been taken, (5 months since I paid and also no posts from him for over a month!). But, once he posted that picture of the 12 pods sitting in his garage, I believe him.
All he has to do now is ship them off. You can see the boxes on the left side of the picture.

Yeah your right but it shouldn't take this long to at the least give a legitimate time frame of when they are shipping, which has yet to be done.

I'm not knocking the guy for doing the favor of having them made, I just don't like to be left hanging when my money is not accounted for.

Guys, I'm waiting to hear back from Cort. However, please note that it was only 5 days ago he posted that pic of the pods and boxes. Have a little patience - you're almost there!

Thanks, Omicron, for your help with this - did you get a response from Carlos?

Personally, I am certain (since we've seen the photos) that we will get our items - it's just a matter of time. I also am sorry for the personal problems that Carlos has had, and appreciate the time and effort that was required to produce the high quailty items that were pictured.

If these could be packed up and shipped out - it would be one less thing for Carlos to worry and stress about - we would all go away happy with our very limited edition Carbon Fiber Dash Pods.

Looking forward to hearing the good news (the're shipped!) very soon......

Well, didn't get it in time for the car show... fortunately I didn't need it. Thanks!

If he can afford those HRE wheels, can't he just pay somebody to ship them out?

It's funny that the saying "money talks" is so true. See how responsive he was when trying to collect the money and how the responsiveness slowed down after he had the money.

Now I know from running a business, that if he was still waiting on our funds in order to ship the pods, that he sure as hell would be posting up here and P/Ming all of us for the money.

money motivates.

From now on all group buys should be held in escrow by a third party.

Alright, I haven't spoken out since the last time I voiced my opinion on this hold up. Carlos has proven that he HAS the pods, but that is about as far as he has done in terms of updating on the status. Now I understand he is a busy man and he had a family vacation as well as a family crisis to take care of right after. That was a fairly long time ago. In between all of that he managed to log onto the forum many times (although you can't check when he is online anymore for some odd reason), but not update us on the status of our pods. Heck, he even had enough time to go to a car meet! If you read Carlos's mods list, you can see he has put down "CF dash POD", but he doesn't bother sending the rest of the pods to us (the ones that have paid). Is he doing this as a quality check? Or is he having some form of postpartum depression with these carbon fiber pieces? Does anyone else feel as frustrated and upset as me, or am I crazy? All I can say right now with future group buys is have a better, more reliable system of money and product transaction. Because frankly, this particular group buy is not only going down the drain. It already made it's way to the treatment plant.

I don't know about you guys, but I am willing to chip in some money for food and gas to a fellow forum member that lives near Carlos to ship the pieces out. It is absolutely rediculous that I have to even consider going to this stage.

Actually carlos should take the money that was for shipping from our funds and pay someone to do it if he can't!

But your right something needs to be done, someone local needs to help out cause obviously he's not shipping them anytime soon.

Ok I know that there was someone local in this thread.

Could someone please show face who is local to Carlos.

We need you to pick up all of the pods and ship them out I'm sure Carlos can pay you the shipping that we paid him and any additional money that you require for your time would be paid by the me and the rest of the memebers in this group buy, (i'm sure they feel the same way on this).

Forum member, Monzter has seen it in person when they met up during the car meet. I think he will be the closest to Carlos. I will be willing to chip in up to $15USD for him to go and retrieve them and ship these things out. However, I will need all 12 members to be willing and agree.

We shouldn't have to pay more. Carlos should be footing the bill, being that we have already paid. This is f'in gay. Never done a group buy before, don't think I ever will again
