Mid-Ohio Grand-Am Experience June 19-21, 2009

We've finalized the pricing and now it is a matter of Mid-Ohio updating their website for Mazda owners to order their tickets. Once the site is up and running, I will post of the access code to allow you to order tickets.

Pricing for the entire weekend is $60, which inlcudes infield parking, paddock pass. We will also have a tent, 40 chairs and a couple of banquet tables.

We will have a tech talk with Piloti shoes, where we'll give away a couple of pairs of shoes, I am trying for 4 pairs(depends on the turnout). Piloti will also be handing out 10% discount coupons as well. We'll also be having drawings for Grand-Am swag, Mazda team swag and more.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THESE TICKETS AT THE GATE, ONLINE ONLY!!!

Everyone will receive a Grand-Am landyard and some other goodies too! We are also planning a cook-out with Freedom Autosports, with burgers dogs and beer for Mazda owners. We will have a number of the drivers and crews coming by the corral to checkout our rides, sign autographs and take pictures.

Grand-Am will also be hosting tech talks, as will Pirelli for our membership. Should be a great time, especially since we'll have a large tent, in case of wind and rain. So stay tuned, as I will have more info soon!!!

You know I'm there Marlon! I already scheduled my leave for the entire weekend. I'm thinking of showing up that Thursday. Let me know what I can do or bring.

I'm good to go Marlon. I've been talking this up with the Columbus folks, so hopefully we'll get a good turnout!

Thanks guys, we will have a lot going on, with Piloti, Grand-Am, all of the Mazda teams and lots more. If we get 70-100 cars, we'll be able to work in some really nice surprises, so lets try to get our membership out.

I already know for a fact, that the Scions will be there in full force and of course we'll have the Porsche's, Vette's, BMW's just to mention a few....Also, there will ber a lot of pre-Mid-Ohio events starting on Friday June 5, so stay tune while we finalize all of the events.

Order placed...

Im surprised they didn't ask for any coupon codes or anything. What they have seems pretty open to anybody that finds that link.

You should not expect all meals to be included at this price.

At Daytona, we were fed a few times, but it was more as a courtesy (including coffee).
Sahlen's were nice enough to invite us over after the driver's meeting for a big buffet (including Ice Cream Treats), but it was not included in our Pit Road Pkg.

I wasn't expecting all meals to be paid!! I was merely asking to get a gauge of what was included. Give people credit before you criticize them or dumb them down.

I'm sorry you are above me and much more informed and know so much more of what to expect!!

I take it that you were referring to me...
You must have me (or whomever you were referring to) mistaken for a smartass.
I never "dumb anyone down". It is not my nature to do so, even in my professional capacity.
If I offended you with my comment, I am man enough to offer an apology.

It is a common discipline in maturity to expect nothing and be gracious with what you get.

I am equal to as a human.
Yet I am "above you". I am a Marine. Semper Fidelis!

I also apologize, if I took your comment wrong. I just signed on and thought, "Who is this guy being a smart a$$?" know sometimes text does not convey tone or inflection correctly. Again, I humblely apologize.

Thank you for all that you have sacrificed and given to our great nation! Your service is to be honored and revered.

And as a Marine, you are above me. May God Keep you and Bless you!

An honorable Semper Fi to you!

All three days I think. I'll keep an eye out for you. Might take my Miata up at least one of those days...not sure yet.
