Anyone ever dealt with these people? I will tell you my dilemma and why I will never use them again. I ordered a clutch pedal OCT3, with the fastest shipping 1-2 day. They didn't ship it until OCT4. I have a tracking number that says it is in Sacramento still ATM. I called the post office and they guaranteed me it would be here today by 3pm, and to call if it is after 3. Called after 3 and they have no clue where it is and the problem is is paid $50 for express shipping which was $35 dollars more than regular. So now I have wasted $35 out of my pocket due to someones negligence, whether it was USPS fault or RotaryFX. I will never use RotaryFX again as long as they use the USPS!!! I need my car as I have Navy Ball coming up and paid my dues for 1-2 day shipping. I needed this thing yesterday!! Sorry needed to vent.... Anyone else ever have issues with RotaryFX or is this just my luck?

This should be in the lounge. Or good guy/bad guy thread.
Besides, I wouldn't blame the company for the mail service they use.

Well, everyone knows not to trust the government with anything, with that said, they would be smarter to use UPS or FEDEX and I would have already gotten my part and the overnight shipping would have been cheaper. Geez, everyone knows that. I am in the Navy and don't trust the government with my life. I go to medical and question them all the time cause they never know what they are talking about.

I had that happen, read the fine print with USPS, delivery is not guaranteed. I wasted the extra money trying to get it there by a certain time. I have an extra clutch pedal assembly if you are interested.

FYI, the USPS gets no federal funds.

If it's coming back east then it has to be submitted by a certain time in order to be processed and make it back across the time zones properly. USPS is pretty dang good usually, though on numerous occasions the tracking info is delayed and not the actual package. Whenever you order anything NDA there is always a chance it might not make it regardless. The same thing happens more often than you may realize with UPS or FedEx. They will typically refund you the service difference if it was their fault.

Well, I called the USPS, and they updated the tracking and it is in New Orleans as of 0126 (126am), but it is a day late. Hopefully I can get a partial refund. I don't like USPS and never have due to so many problems before with packages.

USPS won't refund you but possibly RFX will. I typically use USPS and I rarely have issues. When all that flooding was going on out east there were some delays but it's rare. But I have learned the differences in the services they offer and as long as you knwo what to expect it's not a problem. But if I need something delivered next day, I use UPS.

Okay, got the clutch pedal in, and installed it and it has been fabulous and super easy to install as mine was out. I don't see any difference in this pedal vs. the original one, will be installing reinforcement bracket asap, to make sure it doesn't happen again. As for rotaryfx, they say that even though it says it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, it is only an estimate. So I ordered it Oct 3 and got it Oct 6, when I paid for 1 day delivery. But I am happy now cause I got my car fixed.

Forget the bracket, just get it welded, much better.

Meh, $20.00 and 10 minutes at a local welding shop usually. I have installed the brackets, they can be a PIA to install and they are a waste of money IMO.

Glad you got it sorted though.

My .02 on this vendor. ... I bought a set of clear corners and bulbs from Rotary FX with no problems at all. I later ordered a set of fender vents. No problems, again. They are a good vendor, IMHO. Must have been the postal service to blame for the delay.

Have a great time at the Navy Ball

Ah, ranting about postal services, if I ever see UPS as well, I give up on faster shipping, because every experience I've had with overnight-two day shipping with UPS, has been at least a week. Whereas FedEx has beat, or at least matched the time frame every time.

I do plan on ordering some stuff from RotaryFX in the next few days, I'll update this thread with how that goes.

If youre using USPS for shipping, dont be surprised if you get she shaft. I ordered a lanyard 2 weeks ago from a guy in PA, he gave it to USPS for immediate shipping, and its still in PA. It hasn't even moved.

USPS said they I should expect it on the 14th and Im still waiting. Dont hate on RXFX, USPS just screwed it up.

actually you receive the package on time usually what happen is the day you order the part they have to process the package (Oct 3 ) so that day the part don't get ship, next day is transit day so is on the way (Oct 4) and then it arrives on the location or the main distribution center (Oct 5) and finally is available for pick up (Oct 6), usually what happen is if the package dint make it to the post office before lunch you are going to lose a day, and like they said if you need something in a hurry use UPS or FEDEX for next day or 2 days shipping because they don't operate by the post office hours so your package will not get stuck in some warehouse
