If you have decent documentation go talk to the police. Even call the police in the city where the douche lives. They probably won't be much help but having a complaint on-record can help later on.
If you paid via paypal submit a "not delivered" complaint. If you paid by US mail contact your Postmaster (interstate mail fraud is a felony). If you paid by credit card submit a chargeback.
Where in PA? There are many RX-8 and RX-7 fans in this area. I won't do anything illegal but we can legally gather intelligence and surveillance.

I posted this in every topic I thought was created by that Miguel T. person. He ripped me off early June and I got my money back. He has created about 5 different usernames and topics and ends up deleting them when I post.
In the topics I warned people not to purchase from Miguel T.

your right it does hit home because its the one thing I hate is people not standing up for themselves. and I have been blessed so far, avoiding these scam artist. but i do beleive it can happen to the best of us. I believe I read that some where in this thread. nice to see you change your story once some one disagreed with your advice.

So if it's $1 or $1000, you try to screw me and you are going to get the horns.
It's bad advice to tell people they should just accept getting screwed.

I never get ripped off because I never bend over on-command. Nobody should. We should be able to trust people.
So if it's $1 or $1000, you try to screw me and you are going to get the horns.

It is the buyers due diligence in mitigating the possibility of getting screwed.
In Canada if you buy a stolen vehicle even if you honestly didn't know it was stolen .... you lose the vehicle .. not necessarily charged with anything ... but as the buyer it is up to you to due a back ground check.
You've never been screwed because you have done your side of the work.
Now it's an effort in diminishing returns to go after some items ...
Not knowing all the circumstances here I'm guessing this guy doesn't know much else about the suspect.
After awhile you are wasting your time and money .... and for what ...
The OP is doing what he can ... but it isn't going to take long before it will cost more than the 350 dollars.
I know you guys have all this pride and "I'll be damned if someone screws me!" attitude and that's cool ... hopefully the OP will remember this before buying something else ... which seems shady ... that's went I meant by lessened learned
If this sort of effort was put forth ahead time this situation likely would never have occurred.
Now,
Don't know what you makes you the poster child of giving advice and the human condition .... how can you say my advice is bad? We'll just have to agree to disagree on this.
It's all circumstantial. My advice was for 350 dollars is not worth a lot of effort.
If I got ripped off .... I would go after the guy .... if the amount was say 1000 as you mentioned ...
However another example, I would go after a local retailer if the amount was 50 dollars or less....
The local retailer is sitting there waiting for me to come in a scream at him ...
Not so much in this case. It appears its going to take quite a bit more effort.
To me ... if I was going to take a chance on a cheap set of rims because I was too cheap to buy a set from a reputable dealer than ... I'm going to have to live with the fact you might get ripped off.
In the end .... this sounds like it was an internet deal
Unfortunately you are always taking a chance buying stuff on the interwebz ... it's just the way it is .... sure it would be nice if you could trust everyone, but you can't.
Life lesson ... if you can't afford losing it than don't take the chance on buying it sight unseen and no merchandise exchanged ... its why we have stores.
I'm not going to change my advice ... this whole thing sounds shady and the OP was taking a chance .... 350 for rims lol
I would like to see this part out thread .. (will search in a minute)
Edit:
I found a Mazda2004 member.
Question ... was the part out list here in the RX8Club.com?

you are entitled to your opinion but you are way off base. I have purchased tons of thing over the internet product unseen, including two vehicles. I have also purchased tons through this forum. the fact is internet commerce is more common place than ever before. again i say you are correct in some aspect as far as due diligence and research but to your earlier point any one can still get caught, some of these crooks are good. and the point i am trying to make is the 350 is not the matter. if the first person that got ripped off made sure to report this guy and not rest till he was shut down it would save the next people from getting ripped off. if every one took your advice this guy could rip off ten people then we are talking about $3,500.00. can you understand my point now? eating your peas and going home is not in the best interest of anyone.

Hah he tried posting another topic and deleted it after we linked him to this thread.
He has made several accounts and several topics planning on ripping people off. I don't understand why the admins won't ban his IP!
