Once again, you are lying.

Despite comments from those who know next to nothing and have not seen the taillight for themselves, everything I just previously posted is true.

The taillight arrived with distinct lens scratches, and both your pictures and my pictures both show the lens to be free of noticeable scratches. The lenses didn't come into contact with anything in the box or packaging to have received the scratches, so unless the box was opened up from the time you sent them back and I received them, you added damage to them.

I had taken your (Riken) word that the tabs were broken, because the taillight was in your possession and the pics you took weren't detailed enough to be able to see the tabs.

JaySpeed, an AZMC moderator has seen both the box used to ship the taillights in from me to you and you back to me as well as the tail light, and the tabs are CLEARLY NOT BROKEN, and no one here has switched or altered the taillight upon it's return.

I will bring this tail light with me to the next Tri-State meet and physically show it to Jedi and the next time I travel through Portland Oregon to see my family, I will contact zoom44 and physically show it to him as well if need be. Unlike you, I have absolutely nothing to hide. You have my phone number, yet you do not call me, but continue to lie that you do, and when you do, I will record the conversation. You have my address, but in the other thread you have to actually ask "where am I". You are the only reason a resolution continues to be delayed, and once again, you are lying about what you say paypal said, since I have been in constant contact with them and they still don't have a record of you contacting them. I have provided the names, phone numbers, and details of each call to Paypal, and all you have is some made-up story of you calling them and/or me. It is apparent that you have no interest in either telling the truth or resolving this. God only knows why.

I do have all pics of his taillights before I purchased them after and so on. Im wrong at not calling him when I saw they where broken. Thats it, ive done nothing else wrong. I mean he accused me of forging a receipt lol. Come one evo just paypal me the money and I wont post anything else anywhere else.

Those aren't the tabs. Riken has been hootin' and hollerin' about tabs since day one and they are in PERFECT CONDITION. You are showing a female screw insert in which I replied to Riken a long time ago how to fix and would compensate him monetarily for the fix. Broken TABS are totally different and understandably are not easily fixable.

Three AZMC members have all looked at the tail light and have viewed the nonsense posted by Riken, and wonder why he doesn't just contact me or ask for a replacement, as offered since this whole thing began. JaySpeed6 will tell you that I offered to even put that taillight on my RX8 and give him the one that's on it now, but it's got scratches that weren't on it when it was sent out. THAT'S THE PROBLEM THAT I'VE BEEN ASKING RIKEN TO CALL ME ABOUT SINCE RECEIVING IT BACK.

If Riken had been honest from the beginning about what the problem was, Riken and I could have easily resolved this a LONG TIME ago, instead of dragging this on and on. Again, the tabs are NOT broken, as Riken has been claiming this entire time. Is having a buyer contact the seller such a bad thing to request? That's all I have been asking since day ONE.

Sure.. if the taillight was returned in the same condition as I had asked. When I had asked this of Riken before receiving it, he would either avoid the question by changing the subject, or get defensive. It's clear why once I received the taillight with more scuffs and scratches than when I sent it out.

This is why I believe Riken asked for a refund BEFORE sending the taillight back AND had not contacted me, AND put up such a fuss sending it back AFTER making such a big deal that I sold him a broken part, describing "broken tabs" when the tabs are clearly NOT broken. THIS IS WHY I ASKED HIM TO CONTACT ME.


The following is my review of Riken, whether you wish it to be posted or not: Never the less, it's the truth, and nothing changes that.

Riken: Dishonest.

Riken has been given many opportunities to contact me or Paypal regarding a taillight he inaccurately described as broken. Rather than contact me for resolution, he proceeded to mislead and misinform those here at RX8club and AZMC.

He has told lie after lie about contacting me and paypal. After the 5th phone call to Paypal, Paypal decided that since Riken did absolutely nothing to resolve the matter, the funds he originally paid were returned to my wife's account, for me to decide on how much I deemed was fair to refund him since the item (a driver's side taillight) was returned with more damage than it had when sent out.

The tabs as Riken had been claiming were broken for weeks while waiting for him to contact me were not broken at all, but perfectly intact. It is my belief that rather than own up to a mistake in either judgment or wording, he'd rather continue to post multiple lies about contacting me or paypal as well as the taillight itself.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE PURCHASE OR SELL ANYTHING TO RIKEN.

c'mon man... he returned your broken taillight. refund the paypal account and we can all just move on. It'll take all of 2 minutes for you to reverse the charges or issue payment back to the originating account.
