The best revenge

The best revenge is not to give Mazsport your patronage. I suggest everyone, stop buying from Scott. You rip off one of us, in theory you are potentially ripping us all off.

Bad business is bad business. Do not support it.

Boycott!!!!

I'm sure Scott will post saying that the OP has his car and it's running perfectly, but that he'll happily take it back for a year longer to run tests on it. For an additional 5 grand (Those boat payments aren't cheap).

I'm surprised he's still allowed to sell anything here. This is not the first time he's taken someone's car for a year and ruined it while charging outrageous fees to do so.

It's not up to the Admins or Mods as to whether this would happen or not. Mazsport has paid money to Internet Brands for his spot on RX8Club. It would be up to IB to work out a way to cancel the contract, if that is what they wanted to do. I dought that would happen.
At this point, it is up to the individual to determain whether they wish to business with them or not.
I'm not taking a position on this.

what/who is IB?

Anyway stick I am sorry this had to happen to you. Something similar happened to my cousin by a mechanic shop. What he did is he actually talked to the news reporter and the newspaper about the scam and they made a front story page in the local news. Its cheaper than getting legal service at this point plus the news/ media company like local stories. He ended up with a nice chuck of change from the settlement.

If that doesn't work get legal actions to resolve this. And at this point don't even waste your time with Mazsport Scott, since you will just get the run around. Do it right this time.

IB's advertising contract gives them full ability to revoke a vendors status (and keep their advertising money) if their actions are not to IB's liking. They have the right to deny anybody as a vendor that they want, existing or not.

The point was that stick had a greddy turbo on his car when he gave it to Mazsport. Apparently they turned around and sold it to cover some costs. Your turbo kit might be sticks.

More to this? There are additional fees you're going to charge the OP then?

Did anyone read the evolution of Mazsport thread? I just had a post deleted over there...I guess I'll be going to time out soon. Sticks post isn't the first I've read on the horrible service and bad business from Mazsport.

I just everyone to understand, my posted comments are in no way to be taken as comments and opinion from ROAR Racing...these are strictly my comments and my comments alone. -Nic

If I was in the market for aftermarket parts, I think I would want to know.

People should know what they are potentially getting into.

Those who wish for Mazsport to go away over night remember what they brought to this forum and the RX-8 community.

The interceptor EMS and Hi Flow gas pump are at the top of the list. The interceptor was the first EMS to take full control of fuel and spark. Is there anyone else that sells an off the shelf high flow fuel pump for the RX-8 yet? Scott has also gone out of his way to help some of the forum members here.

I have never bought anything from Mazsport, but everyone is jumping on the hate mazsport train very fast. As I said earlier in this thread, if what is said is true Scott dropped the ball multiple times on this one customer, but he has helped out several others.

Although I think this thread should stay around to give future customers the information they need if they wish to tackle a large project with Mazsport. I think everyone knows by now about the lengthy shipping time.
