ahahaha I've seen video of such things. Unfortunately my experience was likely a bit closer range than yours, and perfectly well lit and in living color

Thats what too much tequilla way south of the border makes you think is a entertaining thing to go see.

Just because its not posted all over a message board doesn't mean things haven't happened and people don't have first hand experience.

Anyways you guys continue on w/ your little click and have fun doing so. I guess some people have to be the big dog on the interwebnets in order to have some satisfaction in life. In the process you might miss out on some information that could help.

Its funny how this board has changed in the last 3 to 4 years. I remember when BHR was trying to form and certain members of this entity were asking around for advice, would listen and then discuss it w/ an open mind. The forum was much more open and looking for anything to further the 8 in the power department. Funny how it has changed and the attitudes are different with a small amount of success.

Yes I understand the heat problems associated w/ the side exhaust ports and what it does to the seals and irons around the ports under higher chamber pressures. I even mentioned that it would be a problem on this board in early 06.

Heat always has been and always will be the issue w/ these motors. Control it and you will be amazed what is possible. Hint, this last note my help in your efforts for more power, but hey what do I know. Thanks again for your awesome insight.

If you are not in a position to reveal information then you just have to suck it up and accept that you have no other choice but to stay quiet when people call BS on you. I deal with it all the time. Either you believe in your own knowledge or you don't and their position is equally understandable. Firing back whining, bitching, and moaning about that response only heaps more negativity on yourself. In the end either keeping your mouth shut or providing something to back up your comments are your only viable options. The simple solution is that if you're not in a position to back up your comments then the best place to start is to not bring it up or discuss it in the first place.

Been an MM RX8 AP customer since around mid-year 2008 I think.

Spent about two months doing remote submissions... want to say back then we got about 3 maps into the service. My OMP rates were cranked up, a number of other "out of the box" tweaks were applied, and my AFRs were slowly coming up to where they needed to be (I recall starting pig rich back then).

Eventually, I said F* it ... I saw Jeff was doing a dyno/tuning session up in canookville and spent a weekend with the wife at Niagra Falls. I snuck off for the afternoon one of the days we were there, got the car on the dyno, and after 5-6 runs my car was "done".

I could've stuck with the remote thing for another month (or two or three). In the end I would've reached the same result. But I was too impatient... heck back then I don't even think Jeff offered the calibration service separately.. It was just part of the deal LOL --- ya see where that got him!

Much of this is rinse and repeat for me.... Just went through a similar process earlier this year when I boosted. Sure I could've gone the online route (hell, I even paid for it) but because of my impatience, I jumped on a local dyno/tuning day and learned a shitload about what more I needed to get my setup proper for a real tune.

So I did those things.

And I could've gone the online route again... F* that! I brought a couple like minded fellows together and we flew Jeff's butt back out here to tune us in person again...

It is what YOU make it with Jeff and his tuning services.

Guess y'all know now why he's not getting any of the online calibrations done HAR HAR HAR

- more then 3 months for the first calibration (firt logs sent on 14 september) and i'm still waiting

- more then 1 month for a SIMPLY answer to one of the several e-mails i wrote you (you wrote me 14 days ago asking me to re-send my mail adding the 11 deadly questions)

- more then 2 weeks to receive THE answer to my ONLY question, even after i re-sent to you the e-mail

wait what? you mean we're supposed to follow directions? WTF man, where is my government check to support the emotional difficulties of following directions? and have the support groups been established yet? because I think I need someone lobbying Congress on my behalf. I mean ****, I'm being asked to follow directions here.... The least they could do is appoint someone to take care of this responsibility for me, right?

Of course i sent my datalogs (read my post carefully, i sent them on september 14) but this isn't the problem because i received the confirmation message back so everything is ok. I sent them on september, after 2 months WAITING for calibration (the first!!!!) i decided to ask why it takes so long. I sent more then one e-mail to Jeff but with no answer. 2 weeks ago finally an answer but not the answer i was waiting for: Jeff wrote me back just telling me to add the 11 deadly question otherwise he would not associate my name/surname and my Ap serial number to his database (because i just added these 2 info in every e-mail)....Now, i wrote him back adding these 11 deadly question but after 16 days no answer....

The datalogs and 11 deadly questions must be sent in the same email not two separate emails

not to stick up for MM, because I think it's absolute BS that a person can't look at two separate emails from a paying customer, but i'm still not seeing where you said you sent BOTH the 11 q's AND the datalogs in the SAME email.

you better do what the soup **** says if you want your tasty, tasty soup
