I noticed, by the way, that you failed to mention that you didn't even send in your first submission until 6 months AFTER you received your AccessPORT.

EDIT - You know what? I'm just going to do you a favor. I'll "refund" the $99 to you that you didn't have to pay for the Calibration Service and you can get someone else to tune your car.
ehm Jeff, Fonzy wrote:
- Bough Accessport at 21-04-2010
- Logs mailed to Mazdamaniac on14 Sep 2010
so he publicly stated that he waited 6 months.

When you said "CORRECT PARAMETERS" and "CORRECT CALIBRATION" what do you mean? I checked personally his logs and they were exactly like mine (and my calibrations were sent, slowly but i received them) so please, could you tell us what exactly was wrong with his logs?
He received a confirmation email which explicitly stated that everything was correct (look back at his first post)

Now, about the refund, it's not a favour!...It's a service that you offer within AP and we buy it from you JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE AUTHORIZED BY COBB AND THE ONLY ONE WITH THE PROGRAM FOR MAPPING.

From your website: These custom tuning files are NOT available anywhere else!

You can not refund something that invalidates the use of the purchased goods and if you refund the calibration service how we can use AP if there is anyone who can provide the same service?
Or you refund the full amount and Fonzy will send you back the AP or simply observe the contract that is accepted at the time of purchase.

anyone can provide the same service. They simply choose not to like you and I. If it's important enough you'll find someone else to do it for the right $. Or have a go at it yourself

Please, let me know who can provide the same service (maybe for the same price because MM offered it if you buy the AP from him, otherwise we could buy AP on ebay for a fraction of his price and pay 250 USD to someone else) to italians...There's a greek guy who can do it but he works JUST on F.I. rx8...

jeff already knows (i have the email and his reply) that AP arrived damaged and i had to send it back to COBB for a free exchange. That's why so much time passed from the purchase to my first datalog. There's no excuse man, I do not know in your country but here in Italy emails have judiciary value

i understand that you had some problems with fonzy's calibrations (due to his own flats). i understand he has not provided u with his questions in a correct format. therefore, delaying his calibrations. but what about other people. i have been waiting close to 60 business days. according to u i have sent the correct data. i understand you are swarmed so delays are to be expected. i also understand its not easy doing these calibrations correctly, but inquiries about calibrations should be answered the first time. i have e-mailed my concerns about my place in line being lost but no answer.

that being said, i just read your conclusions about "customers".
i own a butcher shop and yesterday a hot chick came in and bought a red-bull and gave me a $5 bill. i gave her $3 back. she waited for a while and asked for the rest of change cause she claimed she gave me a $20 bill. i had to pull out the security camera footage over the register to get rid of her. stuff like that happens all the time, but my customers pay my bills. i respect the good ones and "deal" with the bad.

Really? Used ones don't sell here for a whole lot cheaper than his price usually.

I bet if you would post up the exact info and attachments that were sent in the first place, someone would tell you what was wrong (if anything).

Jeff, instead of answering so wisely, points out in what Fonzy was wrong and why he received the confirmation email even though you keep on saying that he was wrong.
This debate has nothing constructive.

I had my car tuned by jeff 2 years ago, i know how to make datalogs and how to answer to some questions. I have done the same for a couple of friends and they received calibrations too (waiting 2 or 3 months every calibration). I've checked Fonzy's datalogs and they were exactly like all the others datalogs sent.
Now, if these datalogs were wrong, why he received the confirmation email? If you fail loggin you will not receive this email but, if you are lucky, someone answer you to check and send your data again.

Here's the point:

R.T. kept submitting the logs with the wrong attachments and such, which is, unfortunately, a common problem. (His submissions had attached a calibration for a different model than what he actually used for the logs.)
I deal with it constantly and it is the reason for "instructions instructions" threads and the like.

But the real issue is that I am sick and tired of being treated like some of you people own me.

I certainly don't provide the calibration service to get rich (obviously).
I do it because I enjoy it.
So to have disgruntled customers - for whatever the reason - immediately resort to bad-mouthing and threatening me whenever they feel that I don't go into a minstrel show number the second they feel that I haven't made them a priority makes me bristle.

There are hundreds and hundreds of people with AccessPORTs out there that I have tuned. (I've lost count, but it is well over 700 now.) Several hundred are international customers from all around the world.
So why is it that the Italian customers in particular are so often impossibly rude, hostile and intellectually inflexible?
I have a dozen or so units in Italy and 6 or 7 of those customers couldn't get their submissions together (sometimes in spectacularly inept ways) and then immediately resorted to legal or physical threats.

Well, I really didn't mean to turn this into a rant.
Musta been the coffee.

R.T. - Sorry, but I can't have people like you as customers. It makes me physically ill. I really try, but to have my instructions constantly ignored and then get yelled at because the process gets FUBAR is just pointless.

P.S. - If you Europeans believe you can acquire an AcceessPORT at a better value, then do it. Even your "local" dealer (who can no longer get AccessPORTs unless he buys them through me) sells them for 100 Euros MORE than I do and doesn't include tuning.

P.P.S. - Before you get your panties in a wad about this dumb American calling out the Europeans, remember where I am from.

Here is why I said "post up the exact info and attachments" and not "post up the datalogs". There's a difference.

Well, it is a moot point (and not really the central issue here).

Americanbulldog & Nardellino are not current customers of MazdaManic. In addition Nardellino is a European tuning competitor of MM.
Future post of theirs, in this thread, will be deleted. Along with any replies to their posts.

Any criticisms of MazdaManiac by outsiders, will only hinder the resolution process.

even if you have read jeff instructions correctly it is very possible to make mistakes.
so how does one really know if u sent usable data or not, if the people who review the data miss mistakes?

I was surprised to see this posted since he has previously indicated that these threads merely serve his personal amusement rather than any resolution purpose.

I have nothing to do with Al's comment, however truthful it might be.

Good point and that is the crux of the current efforts to create a semi-automated system to review the content.
Flashwing doesn't/didn't always know what might otherwise kick-out a submission. There are a LOT of variables and customers have gotten progressively more crafty at coming up with ways to subvert the current system.
