Hi all, I just resolved an order with PoLak.

The Good:
I got all my caliper decals (and the color doesn't matter to me since I'm using them as templates)
I got a refund for things that weren't available
His phone number is on the letterhead that came with the decals
He didn't want me to bother returning items sent in error
He sent stuff to the correct address, despite my order having the wrong one

The Bad:
The website's stock list is wrong, I ordered two silver decals, and he doesn't have any. The site still says they are available and I pretty badly want some, but I guess I'll never get any.
I was sent yellow decals instead of silver ones
He's pretty tough to reach, I sent a PM and three email about my address and never heard back from him
Damn, I really want some silver RX8Club stickers!

The Skinny:
He's selling the business, and the new owner can hopefully update the stock

Good luck PoLak, congrats on graduation, you made some really kick-@$$ stuff while it was available, I only wish I could buy some of it now!

 

I'm subscribing because I'm hoping that Dshiznit bought the business and gets it back up to speed. I've been wanting some Ti-grey decals and they've been out of stock forever. btw, if Dshiznit is no longer interested in the business, let me know via PM. I work in the screen print biz and I may be able to help you out, thanks.

so are you just taking it over and selling it all out... or are you going to bring it back to life and produce everything that is out of stock?

i want brake caliper decals!!! btw, how safe is it to order an rx8club.com decal off the site right now.. since it's listed as in stock.

 

Considering I ordered mine 2+ weeks ago and haven't heard a peep regarding them even tho he signed on here today I'd say not even remotely safe. 2 emails and a pm to polak without a response means I'm close to filing a dispute with paypal. Not to mention he says he hasn't been updating his inventory and the new owner doesn't seem to be planning on fulfilling current orders...

Mark is shipping out all current orders TOMORROW. I am not obligated to fulfill any orders previous to my ownership.

 

So.... how soon do you think you'll have more Ti-Gray decals?

Was he sending out any confirmations/tracking/etc? I still haven't heard a peep from him.

 

All he told me was he was shipping out orders on Saturday.

Dshiznit - No pressure, but I have the same question as above: any guesses about how long until "out of stock" items (particularly VRed RX-8Club decals!) are available? I'm assuming you need to get a few batches made up...

I have the same problem with Polak Graphic. last year.
I order 2 decal sticker. But never recieve them. Waiting for a white envelope about 4 week. Did got my money back from paypal.
Too cheap to put tracking number from USPS. It only cost couple of cent.
That is why dumb business cant do sh***t right!

 

End of the week if I still don't have it and still have no contact from him. If he sent them standard on Saturday I should have them by Friday.

It's not like it's gonna be a tough one for Paypal to decide on. Multiple emails + PMs + contacting via site + the forum....

Dude's had plenty of time.

 

RK. YOu shoundnt be worring about multiple email . Paypal will refund your money. Polak did not give you a tracking number right? Then you will win your case.

 

Them be fighting words mike; I was fine letting you get away with 2 decals for free but now you come here and badmouth me, really nice.
To describe to you the character of this gentlemen;

Then he rationalizes it by saying because he's waited 2 weeks he should get them for free.

Like I said Mike I don't control the mail, and you truly acted with the up-most of interpretation of social justice there.

The best part of all of this is that about 3 weeks later I get a letter back saying NO SUCH ADDRESS on one of his orders, to my assumption because you had the wrong address formatting on your paypal account. Never did respond to that FYI email I sent you.

PS it doesn't cost a couple of cents, delivery confirmation on envelops for 18cents doesn't do anything its not tracking it a piece of paper. Any sort of tracking from USPS costs at least $4.75

As for anyone else, I finished the last batch of orders and packed up the remaining stock for shipment to dashiznit, if i get the funds quick enough he should have a fully stocked inventory 2.5-3weeks from now. eslyum I plan to do a mass email to all customers in the past 4 years informing them that ownership has been changed and that there is a fully stocked inventory available in 2-3 weeks. Should give dashiz a really nice spike in sales to start out too.

Let me know if anyone in this thread has not received shipment notifications from paypal, as this will be nearing last time that the inventory is in my possession.

you have any new designs in mind? something like just rotors or some rx7 calipers.

i need some rx8 calipers once you get restocked

 

Got the shipping notice this morning. Annoying experience but good to see PoLaK come through.

 

Yes i will be adding some new designs, I am also going to make a thread asking the forum what kind of designs they want.
