here's my math. $75/wheel TIMES 3 WHEELS = $225+tax to get the wheels straightened. PAINT IS ANOTHER $600 ON TOP OF THE THEORETICAL FIGURE OF 225, which is going to be more BECAUSE THE WHEELS ARE BENT SO BADLY.

no he paid 400 for the wheels and 100 for shipping

shipping was 30 more than i quoted.

I refunded 150 for wheels being bent.

he has 220 tied up in them, well i cant count the 30 really because he wasnt asked to pay 130 for shipping...

 

Then handle it by a pm or give him the other $50 he asked for,it is a simple fix and admit that you made a mistake.You had to have seen the bent wheels if you packaged then up..........C'mon now

your the only one. Im not paying for all your repairs on the wheels. Im refunding what was misrepresented. What you do with the wheels ( painting, sanding, balancing, adding spinners, casting to carbon fiber) whatever is not my responsibility.

And you posted uh, a page ago, that you didnt want the other 50 refunded because it wouldnt matter anymore. ?

1 used wheel working condition no bend, 1 used wheel need light adjustment, 2 used bend wheel. = 250 bucks +buyer pay shipping, if anything i would refund an additional 50 bucks due to false advertisement and the trouble of him having to get the used slightly bend wheel operational and this should be cleared..

and u should be cleared. it is his choice to go the more expensive route of repairing 2 bend wheels. sometime it's better to buy another good used wheel.

Don't call greddy a scammer; he has sold several products, and he screwed up on one (bad) and it's been escalated. IMO This is pointless, just return the money for the 3 damaged rims + shipping ( of the three rims ) back to xt.

 

dude, i've never asked you to pay for paint. EVER. i'm asking you to pay for what was misreprented (omg, it's like you already said that): 3 BENT WHEELS. To fix 3 bent wheels is a MINIMUM of 225, and I'm only asked for 200. and when i say fix, i mean "make them straight" not "repaint them, in addition to making them straight"

and why would i turn down $50? it was either a typo, or a misunderstanding on your end.

ctme, it is not his fault u brought the wheel to repair center, his part of the deal was he was gonna sell u 4 unbent wheel, he has refunded appropriately for what he screwed up on, which is 1.75 rims. he could add 50 bucks as courtesy.

it is not his job to repair the wheels to unbend condition, especially when the wheels are basically "totaled" in term or cost to acquire another good unbent used one is less than those of repairing. just like insurance company will not repair ur car when it's totaled, and if u choose to repair it, they will not cover it.


IMO, greddy has upheld his end of the bargain (still need vendor approval or he should keep his sell threads shut XD)

Case close, i think, the refund has covered the bad merchandise + courtesy

my suggestion to xtmesis, if u have not repair the rims, don't repair the 2 bent ones, 9 out of 10 times its cheaper to acquire new rims. repaired rims are also weaker and more prone to future bending.

 

Now there is a start of a solution.Thank you.
