Ordered GT3071R upgrade on 3/14/08. Received it on 5/29/08, opened the box to check content before selling to find out it had damage...

Pics of damage: http://xtreme-toyz.net/gt3071r

Sent it back and to this date I haven't received it. Back 2 weeks ago only response I got was it should ship out soon. Tried emailing (as usual) no answer...and I know I don't speak for myself when I say this.

I still haven't decided if I should vote GOOD or BAD, but if this matter takes longer and I don't get any replies I will lean towards BAD.

Tried sending PM as well, no answer. This is no way of doing business.
I even asked him to refund the money and I would send rest of kit but that didn't go far...

very impatient you are.

MM has said numerous times that sending him PM'S is not a way of contacting him regarding business transactions.
what email did you use? is it the same email as the one you used to purchase the kit?

MM is a stand up guy and he'll make good on this.

On the turbo there are a few blades bent, you can see them on the pictures. I forgot to take pics of the box, wonder if the box had any holes? I did notice the wastegate bar end sticking out of the bag so I took pic of that. Not sure how it happened so I can't tell you that part. I was selling the turbo and was going to ship out when I had it, but I decided to open it and check, that's when I saw the damage (I don't think they bend fan blades to balance the turbo...)

Well, that's what I think after seeing the wastegate bar sticking out like that, but like I said, I didn't get a chance to take pics of the turbo box to see if it had any holes...

maybe he's just verifying it's the same turbo he sent to you? I'm just saying that you have pics on that sight of a few turbos and it's prudent for anyone to be sure.

his phone number should be in his info on google checkout

not sure why people just try to rely on PM's and email for matters like this...pick up the phone!

PMing Jeff will get you no where, a phone call will get you his voice mail with little chance of a return call but a email should get you an answer in less than a day.

His turbo is a special one, cant trade it for another one, and brand new too. As far as him being a scammer I dont think so, only complaint, if you read my thread is no answering emails and saying it will ship soon and wait a while with no answers. I asked for his # and he didnt give it to me, told me to email instead. He replied that he would get with me, at least I got a hope breath..

MM will make it right. There is no doubt about it. He is a busy guy and sometimes gets side tracked with other projects. Have a little patience in the mean time.

It didn't take very long for the first MM fanboy to sling some insults. I think your first assessment that bad packaging broke the turbo is correct, but the accusation he slung at you would make anyone think the worst.

Good luck with this whole thing, man.

Yes. I'm saying you took it apart and broke it.
The fins on the compressor were bent OUT.
The only way to do this is by taking the compressor housing off.
I have pictures of your turbo before it went out and it is pristine.
I also have pictures of your new turbo that I bought for you out of pocket.

If the packaging was violated (it wasn't bad packaging - I use the OE packaging from Garrett for the turbo, in which it survived the trip to me from Japan just fine), then you should have taken it up with UPS since I insure the contents for their FULL value. For obvious reasons, you didn't want to do that.

As far as the time it took to satisfy your return, I told you right from the beginning that it would be done at the same cycle as the order in the first place.
I don't have any control over that.

The delivery date from UPS says you will have it on Tuesday.
Try not to break this one before you sell it to Ramon.
