Honestly, its better for vendors to respond like this in the public, instead of claiming they're going to take care of it, and then blow off the customer in the shadows of privacy.

This way, it lets the rest of us know that this company is potentially one that doesn't have a problem with screwing you over, and leaving you to rot.

That helps me know who not to buy from in the future.

This forum has seen its share of vendors burn themselves to the ground through their own superiority complexes over the years. Greed causes people to do strange things when they think they are top dog.

Luckily, we also have some vendors here who are the exact opposite, and do everything in their power to make sure their name isn't going to run the risk of having a situation like this come up. Those are the ones to do business with.

I recently had a customer with an issue and his initial e-mail seemed a bit panicky. I got busy fixing the problem and forgot to e-mail him the play-by-play as to what I was doing about it. However, 48 hours after receiving his first contact I e-mailed him to tell him what was being done and the manner of resolution and he was very satisfied.

The point is that Dannobre's advice is good; allow Jon the time to sort everything out before becoming heavy-handed about all this. You may end up more satisfied than you think.

1) How did you reach Goopy in the first place?

2) I feel no sympathy for those who cannot afford the toys they choose to play with...... unless you are going to tell us here in America that the Croation government forced you to buy an RX-8.......

3) Nobody can answer that with any credibility because the only two people who know the full story are you and Jon from Goopy. I will tell you this much; if you took the time to peruse the materials included in Goopy's return shipment to you, you might find the key in how to approach him about this. Jon is a very religious man.

Lest anyone think I am a "shill" for Goopy; I am definitely not. I just don't like it when customers run to the internet to air greivances before giving their chosen vendor a fair chance to resolve the situation.

2) AGREED! You should see the supply-side of this damned industry. Idiots everywhere..... that is why my company only uses suppliers of a certain caliber, age, and maturity.
3) I think many consumers in this industry feel the same way and why not; it is largely dominated by children and immature people.

Dear Goopy Performance.
I recently recieved the rotor housings as per invoice *****. I sent in 2 housing for refurbishment, and one was deemed unsuitable for the process and you recommended that it be replaced with a used but good condition housing that you had on hand.
When I recieved the housing I immediately noticed a defect that was on the "good" housing that you sent me. I am enclosing a picture of said housing so that we can determine the best way to remedy this problem
