Good Guy: Jay Goldfarb

the request for a check was a little weird, but he did send out the brakes before i mailed him the check. Jay was very quick to respond to all my pms, provided tracking number immediately after he sent out the big brake kit, and i was very impressed wit the packing.
so dont be freaked out if he asks for a check. he is as honest as a seller can be.

some of us don't want to indulge Paypal sucking off 3% for doing next to nothing

i would have included the 3% paypal fee if he'd asked. 1000 dollars for a big brake kit with new studs and spacers is a bargain. but overall jay rocks!

technically Paypal prohibits you from charging their fee as an add-on cost, but in reality all they care about is getting your money for doing next to nothing

there are some Paypal horor stories too, like seizing or locking up bank accounts for months on end etc., so again some people prefer to just avoid using their so-called service

I too have purchased from Jay, I bought a set of extra wheels from him, he sent them to me before I paid for them, so that I could look them over, and then I sent him the $$. Good guy, easy to do business with.
