so you installed his midpipe and your mommy didn't want to pay. What the heck man, just man up and pay the guy already.
You said "it's being taken care of" but you haven't provided any details on how you plan on accomplishing that.

I don't think he'll be providing any details since "I don't plan on paying for it" isn't much of a defense.

this is where paypal sux... if the seller has proof the buyer received the merchandise and has tracking, how can they give the refund? At least paypal should verify that the product got back to the original seller before releasing the funds... wacked

I really don't want to go down that route. I just want to clear up this mess. Paypal didn't help me at all, i sent them proof of delivery, they said they needed a signature for proof, which ups didn't have. Lets go Patrick, man up!

now file a police report showing the delivery, the non payment and the installation the cops will tow his car for having stolen property on it and then he has to pay alot more than what the mid pipe cost to get his car out of impound.

Man this is the shi**y part of doing business via Paypal/Ebay. Unfortunately i had a similar situation happen.

The kid made a mistake, period. Stupid, idiotic, moronic----yes but nonetheless a mistake. He obviously doesnt have an upbringing that preaches ethics or honesty.......OR he believes he is in too deep to dig himself out.

As young fellas we do stupid ****. You can work out payment arrangements, pay the man his money, and write up a formal apology on this forum explaining the factors involved. After this, maybe you will be accepted back into this community. Personally, i would commend you. I know you may be thinking " I dont need you people". Trust me, if you truly love your car, these people and the network here is something you want.

As much as I am enjoying keeping this thread going for the humor, Bay needs to end this and just pay up or send the part back. A lot of the forum sales are based on trust, and he is rightfully being blasted for not keeping up his end of it. The rx8 world is a lot smaller than some people think...... maybe he needs a honda.

Excellent point, +1.
Bruh, you've got to do whats RIGHT. I realize you're just a username to us, but this guy knows who you are... its your integrity on the line here. As much as you say you dont care, I think you do. You dont want this on your conscience forever... and it will be there, you wont be able to erase it.

I think if you did the above, you would gain alot of respect from the members here.. it shows maturity, character and ***** to admit you messed up big time and want to rectify your error. I for one would give you a huge thumbs up for it.

my problem is this kid seems to have no problem with taking someones money, teach him a lesson sure its only $200 but seriously have the kids car towed that will cost him about that then when they impound it and start tearing everything out of it maybe he will learn his lesson to respect other people and their property.

I applaud the kids parents for doing their job and teaching their kid right....er...wait.... seriously though, wtf dude? don't be such a dumbass about this, just make it right. If I was you I'd be shtting bricks right now, because if someone from this forum doesn't do the job, karma surely will. what comes around goes around, you're one to talk about "I gyave you a chance", hell, you're the one who has a chance to make this right, otherwise you're heading down a very very unpleasant path as this WILL come back to haunt you somewhere down the road, at least you have a chance to make this right, some of us had to learn this lesson the hard way.

Call a collections agency and see what they say about repossessing your property, or getting your money back.

Hmm, he's bay area too. I'd be happy to join a group of people to come out and collect the money in person. We could make a meet of it and have like 12 people show up.
