When you started whining to all of us about a 10 dollar part instead of working it out like an adult, and talking about "being screwed" over the cost of shipping a $10 part back for a refund.

I don't particularly want to take sides in this issue as I think the whole situation is juvenile, and i don't think anyone is in the right or the wrong here but since you asked, I'm not impressed with your attitude.

 

So, he doesnt have $15 for refund + shipping. I wonder if his car is poorly maintaned, if it has gas, or if he even eats? Just ask your parents for the money, I'm sure you're use to that

God...for $10...I'd throw them in the garbage if I didn't want them......

And I sure wouldn't want them shipped back if they were broken.....what's the point of this thread?

If you want them back I will ship them back.

If you don't pay for return shipping, the thread stays. I haven't done anything wrong, so why should I be out any money?

And just for the record, this guy was inquiring about buying a transmission in another thread recently, so either he a) does have some money and/or b) doesn't have enough money-management abilities to purchase a cheeseburger.

 

Well, the matter of the fact is that he did, although it took a thread to get him to, refund the money. $10 isn't a big deal, its just the principle. It seems he is trying to redeem himself for the error he has made. Atleast he is trying to work things out. Too bad the thread had to be made, it will be awhile before he stops getting bashed.

VS8, I think he is just waiting for a response here. If you sent him $10 then he wants to know if you want them back. If you do want them back, he does not want to pay for shipping. I'm sure once that question is answered he will close the thread.

Wankelbot, before you close the thread, post your final thoughts about VS8. We know you received a broken product, but did he rectify the issue in a manner that satisfied you?

 

Exactly what I said was "When the funds clear I will ask for the Bad Guy thread to be deleted, and will edit my post in the for-sale thread to make it clear you did the right thing." This was based on my understanding that you did not want them back from "(you can keep them i just want them out of my garage)" in this very thread.

Now is seems you may want the covers back from this remark: "now lets see if he gets some free battery covers." No, I won't get free covers because these will go in the garbage.

If you want them I will return them. BTW, I will still need a physical address since you shipped from a shipping store. I think that's the fourth time I've asked for it. Even if it's just c/o the shipping store, you must explicitly say so.

So if you want them, say so and provide an address.

And the funds have not cleared yet.

 

why would it be deleted? it took this thread to get him to come and pay such a small amount. i would sure want to know that if i was considering a bigger transaction. if he can't stand by the small stuff, what makes me believe he will on something bigger?

umm...okay i refunded it...and the battery covers were usable and i didnt notice the tabs

VS8, please let me know if you want the covers returned or not. And if you do, provide an address. I'll give you until Friday to say yes or no and provide an address if yes.

If I don't see an answer by then, I'll assume the answer is no. (Trash pickup Saturday morning.)

Money (or lack thereof) tends to bring out the worst in people. It is unfortunate that it took this thread to get him to refund, but I think he has ultimately done the right think. I think once he confirms that he does not need the parts returned, all ill will should be put behind.

in the pm's i never said i refused to give him refund (which is completely opposite of this threads title)...all i said is that i didnt have the money right now
