And the minute you start paying all of us to police this place, you can start bitching about the "management style." Until then, please keep your opinions of how we operate to yourself unless you have something constructive (and polite) to say.

It wasn't my intention to knock the admins. It just struck me the wrong way for a superduper mod to think a poll to ban or not was appropriate under the circumstances. That's all I was referring to.

As for paying anyone, I have offered to contribute money to this board numerous times in the suggestion/feedback forum in an effort to help improve how it operates.

And my apologies for jumping on you. I was already pissed at myself for missing this guy's crap for so long, and I took it out on you.

Bob contacted me yesterday evening, waiting for his response to the status of jubez rims.

I'd like to see this resolved.

This is his response:

I don't think that's any of your ******* business Ted. Fortunately I'm not required to answer to you or anyone for that matter. I held up my end of the bargain. I'm not responsible for lost items.

as for you, keep posting my personal info and inciting people to contact me and I just might run out of patience for you and decide to get serious.

Thanks,
Bob

the shipper is responsible for making sure the product is received, even if it requires the receiver to pay for the insurance

no product received = money returned unless the receiver turned down the option to insure shipping

time for this clown to receive the pwnag3 he deserves!

and if said clown is reading this, yes I am da man. I always hold up to my end of the deal. I'd rather be true blue to the end and out a few bucks than be a scum sucking POS maggot

the only thing he held up was me...he probably never had the wheels in the first place, so how could they get lost.

he throws out threats like he's god so sooner or later he'll get what's coming to him.

I'm not going to pursue this any further, scumbags like this always lose in the end. The main reason I started this thread was to inform the community of this bastard to prevent him from scamming others.

I hope he's been banned from here and I thank you all for your support.

my friend says:

if he has proof of shipment, he probably won't be convicted in small claims court unless he has strings of prior convictions.

even if he doesn't have the proof, it's probably not worth the money to pursue this matter for $600 unless the victim lives nearby.

bottomline is, it's not worth it unless someone from this board near ottawa wants to pay him a visit and get reimbursement somehow. additionally, eletronic evidences (pms, e-mails, thread posts) don't hold up in court at all at this time.

it sucks, but that's just how it goes sometimes i guess.

in my feable attempt to bring some light into this matter, i gotta say that $600 really isn't really a lot of money to learn such lessons. at least it shouldn't be, if you're driving and esp. modding your rx8.

Wow, sorry to hear about the scam.

However, you seem to have enough personal info to track this guy down. I would call his house or call HIS local police dept. for a quick visit.

And as for the threat, don't let that deter you. I am sure it is a case of "internet bada$$"....

Last guy that tried to scam me on a part (a VW guy), I got his personal info from the forums, and called his house repeatedly looking for him. I received similar threats but kept calling, until I eventually reached his MOM!!!! LOL the guy was 25, but still lived with his parents!!! His mom took care of him....I got the intercooler two days later
