Exclamation Bad Guy: RxGr8t

This guy is a scammer. I paid him $600 for a set of wheels with tires that were supposed to be shipped to me and he's ignored all my emails, PM's and phone calls. He's logs on here pretty much every day so watch out. Don't buy anything from him!

did you exchange any PM's with him, particularly where he stated he would ship your items upon receiving funds?
If so, file a fraud claim with your bank / credit card company.

If you used paypal, you can dispute it. I've got burned on ebay four times! And each time I disputed it. I provided whatever emails I had and wrote a short summary. In 30 days, I've won all four. Only thing I lost was some time and I had to ride the emotional roller coaster of being scammed. Hope this helps, 6 bird's a lot of money.

I wanted to use paypal but he refused. That should have been my first sign

Do you know if the internet fbi group has jurisdiction in Canada? I have a couple pm's and emails but most of the dialog was over the phone.

I like your idea khtm...he bloody well deserves it!

thank you all for your support

Since this is a US agency, they may not get involved in this since the whole transaction was in Canada. If one part of it was in the US, you may get a better shot at it. Good luck, though. Get his ***.

for what it's worth, don't kick yourself over not using paypal. you wouldn't have had much luck with them as they really only assist you if you are buying through eBay. there was another forum member who thought they were covered b/c they used paypal and paypal said they were out of luck. good luck with things though.

Hmmm...

How 'bout banning him? Since he spends time here that could make him recognize that he needs to follow up on the sale.

There are member's in Canada, has anyone met him at a meet? or can contact him to settle this?

I agree, if he can't resolve this he should not be allowed here

if youd like i can do $215 shipped through paypal or if you'd like to pay me through western union ill do $130 shipped ( only because it saves me the hassle of having to transfer money to my bank accout from paypal and having to wait ) with western union i get cash on the spot and am able to go to ups right after to ship out parts. lemme know""

As we all know western union is the choice of all scammers, if you send this guy cash, you will never see your cash or the part. as if anyones really going to drop $100 in price just to have his money a few days sooner.
