Bad Guy : Hybrid-RX8
(June 7, 2007) I sent my payment via paypal to Damon Lau. Seeming like a very cool guy I figured I got a GREAT deal on some 19" Gold Volk SF Challenge. ($2500)
It took him a LONG while to send the rims because he went on a vacation and said that his secretary would package the rims and send them to me.
(July 4, 2007) A month passes by and he gets back to me saying that he was really sorry that his secretary forgot to send them and he would send it ASAP. Gave me two tracking number which I thought was BS because I have never seen tracking numbers for UPS that starts with "M". He said that it was an international tracking number because it was coming from Canada so I believed him.
(July 11, 2007) He gives me some bad news stating that UPS has lost the rims while shipping them and had to put a tracer on the rims.
(July 13, 2007) aka Friday the 13th. He announces that UPS has found 3 of the 4 rims in a warehouse in Niagara Falls.
(July 16, 2007) He then tells me that he shipped 2 packages meaning 2 rims each package. Now he is saying that UPS found 2 of the 4 rims.
That was the last time I heard of Damon Lau. He never was on top of the transaction. I would always have to email him or PM him and the reply would be very delayed. I disputed my money via paypal and contacted UPS to see if these packages were really sent. UPS said the tracking numbers he provided had no record at all with the system.
He seemed to be a good guy when I first started the transaction but once he got the money, he became really sluggish with everything. He owned the 310 RWHP Greddy Turbo RX8 from Canada. Anybody been in this situation before that could help me?
