Anyone dealt with Jay@Evo-R?
I mailed in something to him for a refund back in late August I believe, yes I know it's been 5 months! I've never been refunded and I've sent many PM's asking about the status of it, and he has never responded. The email on the site comes back as undeliverable and I can't get anyone on the phone either. Has anyone had any problems like this or know a better way to get in touch with Jay?
Jay is a personal friend of mine. he's very good with customers, im sure there was some kinda miscommunication. let me see if i can get ahold of him, he's a busy guy even i have a hard time getting a hold of him. let me see what i can do
I have dealt with Jay on several occasions and he has been more than accomodating...he has responded to both PMs and emails....

Not bashing the guy, just calling it as I see it, but he rarely responds/updates on the "replica Autobahn fender vents" thread.
I just got some eyelids from the guy. With most people, sure, he doesn't reply as soon as you press the "send" button but he does reply. The only weird thing is is phone number. I kept telling me "all circuits are busy." All-in-all, I can't complain. The paint job he did with my eyelids make up for any shortcomming he, may or may not, have had. They're sweet!

ordering process was good, received it quickly, was prompt in returning my previous messages, I had no probs at all until I PMed him after I sent them back, then it's like he just vanished

Wow...still have not gotten my refund as of today, he said he couldn't find my order, prob because it's like 6 months old.... then I sent him everything he could possibly need to look up my order, including my email and email i sent payment to, exact date I sent payment, and Paypal transaction # and everytime it takes about a week to respond
Not bashing him personally, but it's completely unacceptable to take a week to respond every time to an email when you have a business. I know because I'm very busy myself and would like to do other things with my time than chasing after people for money I am owed. This is ridiculous

wow that sucks. Your definetly right, its unacceptable. I help manage a customer service call center and if it were in my hands I would have already addressed the issue. Hoepfully J has a valid excuse.
"Too busy" is BS, he posted 3 times on the 17th, once on the 18th, and twice yesterday....so he has time to post to attract new customers but cannot take care of previous customers who have been waiting for months?! I am done being nice, have waited very patiently, I will never again buy from him. Seems like everything goes well then when there's a problem that's when the sh*t hits the fan he he doesn't take care of it.

I am also not trying to bash him personally, but I agree with you, he has time to try to find new customers, but the ones that have ordered things get put on hold.
and it has been 3 weeks since he responded to me after i started the thread, c'mon it does not take that long to do a refund on paypal, there's not even anything that needs to be shipped.

Interesting...swoope has been trying to help me out with this too...damn i just want my freakin $$ back, I woulda sold em on here or ebay and taken a small loss if i knew it was this much trouble..
