What an awesome video. That's really what life's all about.

It like how the Brits in the car are respectful of the GT and the driver.

Having dangerous fun without a care in the world.

NotAPreppie 08-18-2006 10:25 PM

Oh, yah. Gotta love videos of people being a public menace.

dillsrotary 08-18-2006 10:32 PM

wonder if the lambo's they past followed behind them? also like how the GT had his blinker on for like 3 miles

BlueSky 08-18-2006 11:28 PM

One of the brits in the vid did say the lambo was following. That Murcielago looked awesome!

nycgps 08-18-2006 11:57 PM

People like them deserves to die. Running around like an idiot on a public highway.

Espeically the Z06 in the back, he thinks hes all that, but chasing is ALWAYS easier than leading. Chasing, all you gotta do is to focus the dude in front of you, Dont even need to care much cuz the leading guy gonna take most of the pain.(the other ppl)

but leading, on the other hand, gotta look back, gotta look at the front, gotta look at the side, gotta look at the speed. loads of crap.

If if they slip on something and kill someone else ? I bet all they gonna say is "oops, sorry about your lost"

Jesus.

BlueSky 08-19-2006 12:16 AM

You're right, leading is much much harder than chasing.

"People like them deserves to die."

??whatever.

BigOLundh 08-19-2006 01:18 AM

if those were civics and not exotics, and were driven by teens and not older people... all of you would be dissing this video.

i dont think the owners deserve to die, thats a bit extreme.. but theyre just as dumb as any other street racer out there.

Nah, they're dumber. Jackasses like that are far worse than any street racers I've met. Yes, I've done it... when I was 18. This is a classic case of more money than sense.

BigOLundh 08-19-2006 03:59 AM

i agree

nycgps 08-19-2006 05:24 AM

I might be a bit extreme.

but think of it. at their speed (not sure how fast but it seems pretty fast) , one little mistake can take their own, or someone else's life.

Reckless drivers.

Celronx 08-19-2006 08:17 AM

Let me preference this by saying that I do drive fast. On my way to work in the mornings I'll hit 80-90 on the Toll Road, but there is never anyone on it and I always bring it down when there is trafic. I don't have a problem with diving 'respectfully' fast. After saying that these guys are just being idiots. Weaving in and out of traffic, going very fast. There is such a small margin for error. One little oil spot, hit a bump the wrong way, someone change lanes when you don't think they will.......There are pleanty of places around that you can go and drive like that all you want. They're called RACE TRACKS. Keep that kind of driving on the track.

Chrisbert 08-19-2006 08:34 AM

That was way more than 80-90. When I lived in Atlanta, if you didn't run 80-90 you got run over. Would be funny if the cops could get the tag # off the GT.

BoosTED 08-19-2006 09:53 AM

The narrator said something about the Chief GT Designer being behind the wheel.

He mentions 230 kilometers per hour through traffic on the Detroit highway. That is 142mph

Not the best thing to do. Why didn't they take it to the track instead? :icon_no2:

2Xrotary 08-19-2006 10:20 AM

I see it all the time since I live outside of Detroit and I think nothing of it because its a daily thing around here. The only drivers that suck are the ones who cant drive in the rain or snow. When it rains up here I've seen more cars wrecked and in the ditch then other than when it snows. Its not people like that its the ones who cant drive that endanger others.

Hey 2X, isn't that the truth. Not that I drive 147mph every day, but high 90's cutting and weaving is a fact of life with MI hwy driving. Everyone expects to be passed on the left or right around here and high speeds are just the natural flow of traffic. This video might shock a lot of people......but I see that type of driving every day and hitting triple digit speeds is part of my daily commute.

BoosTED 08-19-2006 11:07 AM

Wow! I believe here in Minnesota a person's license must be pulled for doing over 100 mph, 6 months suspension. :scared:

I grew up in Minn.....moved to MI when I was 14. When I go back to visit family I'm always surprised by the difference in driving habits between the two states.

What are the differences?

2Xrotary 08-19-2006 11:25 AM

First off, if youre not doing 90mph or more then youre not from around this area. Slower traffic normally does 80 or so.
