hey guys. PLZ dont flame me for putting this thread up but im juss sharing wit you guys a part of my day. anyways, today after golf, i was driving back home in my 8 and see a civic. i think its the old civic hatchback (not the 03 ones) but anyways somehow we got to race. but anyways, that car was HELLA fast. at first i thought he was running turbo but after we ran a couple runs, we stopped and talked and damn, he only had intake, headers, and exhaust. but that thing was HELLA fast. i actually think it was faster than a 350z. cuz the last time i ran wit a 350z we were pretty close. not wit this civic. i had NO chance. hahaha but yea. i remember always reading that old cars respond better to aftermarket parts than new ones do, but never realized it until today. i have a whole new respect for those cars. hahah

Take it from someone who used to own one of those civics....if it looks stock it aint. Parts for civics, especially the old school ones, are very cheap. Mazda really screwed up when it came to powering the 8. It's a shame that an 8 can very easily be had by a car that weighs 2100lbs and puts down 160 whp. They should atleast be running neck and neck. Pick on something a lot heaviler next time....like a van full of construction workers.
