I'm going to sound reaaaally bad, but I don't understand Piston engines that much, so I can't really tell what the big issue is here

I don't think I've ever seen welding that bad. Looks like they hired a drunk monkey to do it.

I'm surprised it even runs.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSl5zSlZzpM

I think at one point the engine spat something out, when the guy puts the camera on the floor..

And...
New intake, as the super-diamondplated-OMG-box didn't work as expected
No ****.. Even with my limited knowledge of cars, when I saw their "air box" it had fail written all over it

hahahahaha...where to begin

The airbox? leaking fuel? 1 piece exhaust? Busted turbo? Taking apart and welding on the new turbo?

I am much more impressed with Mitsubishi engineering because these guys butchered everything!

At the very very beginning, when the forum guys were shredding the shop, I was actually rooting for the shop to succeed and pull it off. However, the terror of watching intercoolers and starters and everything things else getting painted metallic blue, not to mention the obviously shoddy work, bad welding and the mangling of the head, made me change my mind rather quickly.

What a piece of junk. It's awful to see people working so hard on something that didn't even have a chance to turn out to be anything but complete crap.

Experts. There are too many of them in this world now.

now... I know this isnt the worst thing they did... but wouldnt painting the intercooler make it less effective? Seems like it would prevent heat transfer, and I would assume that's common sense I would think...

LMAO. I'm not exactly mechanically inclined (more like mechanically retarded), but holy crap, I don't think I could do a worse job putting an engine together. The wheezing idle itself got me chuckling, but I literally started laughing out loud when the car spat out a big chunk of...something in that Youtube video. That turbo is classic too!

Pft, painting everything in the same colors gives +5whp per painted part didn't you know?
