I never for one second thought I could influence DARKSPOT. He/she is not willing to look at the facts and learn from them. No shortage of people like that. My sole goal was to counter DARKO's lies with irrefutable facts so other logical people not in the know would not be wrongly influenced. I think I have accomplished that.

I'd definately take a NSX over a Corvette--oh wait, its not 1993. NSX is no where near as good a performing car as a C6 Vette--looks either; they really f--ked up the design with those bubble head lights. For $90K I'll pass--I'd get a used Turbo Porsche for that.

So what if you proved somewhat that the vette beats the NSX by minimal magazine #'s. I disagree with some of those #'s. Yes the corvette is slightly faster but there is no way in hell it handles better(mid-engine) and I'll believe that 28 hwy mpg when I see it! The fact is, the NSX is the more reliable daily driver sports car. You all are on _____ if you think otherwise.

I'd like to toss my hat into the ring of the Corvette being superior. The NSX is an outdated design, which is probably why its been discontinued. The new vette is better looking and better performing.

First off, I knew the facts just as babylou did. He/she was just the first to back it up.

Second...GET A LIFE! All you do is "stir up the pot...to annoy others" and to "hijack threads" that, in your opinion, "serve no purpose". THEN you say "...like I and others really care" if Sawko gets a new Vette but tell him "good luck"?

I know you're new but run a search. We get these kinds of threads once a week. It gets old real quick. To be honest, if I was going to buy a vette then I'd be posting on the vette forums. Why bother posting here? This kind of post should be in the lounge......

Well for beginners, We have 0 vette owners on this site and if we do then they rarely post. He was not asking for opinions but just basically flat out said he's getting the vette. I'd love to hear exactly what you'd like to discuss about this.

BTW don't go giving bluelou too much credit. I know the facts.....I have google too :p

I think not even darkmaz would buy a sticker price NSX over a C6 or Z06.

Hilarious thread people, quite entertaining.

My 2 cents, a Vette is a Vette. I honestly can say the newest is the best of all, especially looks wise. However, a certain image goes with Vette drivers as well and that image alone would prevent me from buying one. Totally personal . . . on the track Vette's are sick in the hands of a good driver. IF you want performance, nice but not incredible looks, value and the Vette persona, I can respect that. I personally would take a well treated used Boxter S which funnily enough was the 2nd best rated all around sports car in the March R&T. 2nd to . . . the Vette. :D
