It's been very much the opposite of the Mustang - The more I see them, the more I like them. The Mustang was great looking for the first 3 or so days they were out, then they were EVERYWHERE and I think they're looking more and more boring. Shame Dodge had to fall flat on their face by requiring a slushbox.

If anyone would choose a 4200 lb plus sedan/wagon to go out and heel toe around on mountain roads, they're few and far between. Not really a big market to go after. As it is, the SRTs aren't flying off the lots, even with limited production, just because there isn't that much of a market for very high performance large vehciles.

As most of you know I'm a diehard MT guy. However, my dad has a Magnum RT and I have a hard time imagining the car having a manual. The AT is very well suited to the Hemi. Drive one and you'll probably understand where I'm coming from.

The car is automatic for the same reason it was designed as a four door and not like the older 2 door Charger. Marketing says that's their client base. I wouldn't want my Caherger RT with a MT. It's not a sports car. Just stomp on the gas, sit back and start cruising.

I just had a Charger rental for a day. What a crappy piece of **** boat to drive. Ugly interior. Yes, it had lots of room in the back seat, but I swear my wife's Honda Pilot seems to handle better than this heavy turdmobile.

While we're here, I drive a base model Charger for work. The ride is nice, but if only it didn't have a 2.7 liter V6, the worst 4 speed auto on the planet, and ugly plastic everything interior, it would be a nice car.
In short:
+ Nice comfortable ride and bluetooth/sat radio
- Just about everything else
