Here's a good "what not to do"... (my own fail)

Don't spin in corner 6 at Blackhawk Farms Raceway when your friend is following close behind in his RX-8. (skip to ~55s mark)


I remember the car letting go at the start but I have no memory of snapping back around to the left.

I know a mechanic who did an oil change and drained the trans fluid instead, topped up the engine oil and then wondered why the car ran like crap!
Stuffed the transmission in the end!

 

Instead of e-brake he should have clutch kicked keeping revs high to get more angle. Even with the e-brake to adjust you gotta keep the revs up and hold release the clutch savagely to keep wheels spinning instead of trying to spin them at low revs from dead spin.

raced a modified Hyundai genesis with a whistle. was tough for my rx8 bucket had her revved out in all 5 gears and when I moved into 6th we had to shut it down the exit for America came up and I'm not that young that I'm going to miss my turn to see whos better.

Wouldn't do that again because likely the next time ill walk an oem car no fun, or lose to an even more modified car; door to door is fine.

Some low-lights from the Woodward Dream Cruise. It's hard to see on the hatchback, but yes, there are "machine guns" on the hood.

 

Don't forget the quad exhaust pipe on that hatchback. The corvette doesn't look that bad to me.
