Looks like someone backed into it doing a 3+ point U-turn on the street.
It happened to one of my cars too. Sucks.
Getting out of NYC soon.

Tried my best to be defensive owning a car in NY. ALWAYS parking at far end empty spaces of lots, rarely street park if possible, drive like I have paranoia, etc. That clean streak lasted a year and a half at 22,000 miles. Can't own a clean car in this city without it getting F'd up by ********. So, avoid what I do: driving and parking in NYC.

Nope. The tray under the intake and the battery tray help to move the air down and around the engine so it exits out of the bottom and thru the side vents. With the battery tray and intake tray removed all you do is add stagnant heat to the engine bay that has no where to exit efficiently which results in high intake temps (Bad on a MAF car), especially with aluminum intake piping because it becomes heat soaked quicker than the stock composite material.

Interesting read and somewhat related.

Some people may think this is a huge fail, some people may think this is amazing. I think the retrofitted rocket bunny kit is awesome but that camber is terrible....

I'll let the rat rod go; otherwise, it never ceases to amaze me what people do to get some attention.
