sweatr, 9k has been around here forever and has experimented with a lot of different set up on his car. some with good results some bad. he has documented many diy threads and has been very helpful
his point is that buying a bunch of crap generic parts and turing an 8 into an abortion has become too common as their value falls.

Lmao.... wreakloose thats how u defuse an argument quick... divert attention to something mutually funny..... sweatr if it makes u feel any better I cut the muffler off my 8 just past the rear axle and its now got a downward dump pipe... since that I got laid off and just recently started working again so for over 2 months ive had to deal with open pipe rotary...

I originally posted that pic because it was stated as an experiment and the perminate parts will be installed next week and I was wanting to show the difference for others unlike you who know little of the 8 or mechanics at all. I just made the mistake of posting in the kangroo court section.

Not sure what your goal is with this intake setup, but if you don't box in the filter you will just be sucking in hot air from the engine bay. And I know what you are trying to do with the inlet at the bottom of the bumper but it looks like a good place to suck up water...
Misinterpretation, sweatr was referencing people unlike 9K who don't know much about the mechanics. I guess you could take it as a compliment.
