I actually kind of dig the red 8 up top. The only issues I see are the stock rims look really bad, and he debadged his car only to put a Mazda logo on the windshield? Also not a fan of the roof paint job, but thats hardly anything at all.

There is a youtube video of the gray monstrosity at the bottom of your post though sauce, cant find the one of it driving but thats out there somewhere. Now, am I thinking wrong or is his fmic totally blocking almost all airflow that might get to his radiator? Looks like he ditched the undertray(?) as well, so any air that would go there would probably just divert down under the car right?

That guy spent some serious cash on that ugly thing.

Being a big ACVW fan, this makes me sad.

 

Ok... I have to say this, it does bring my taste into question.. but I have to say it. The Lambo Inspired flat black RX-8 mod at the top is kinda cool. I must be high, but I think with some editing it could be pretty cool.

 

That TRD was there before most of the cars actually. And the scions parked next to it when they arrived.

 

Saw this at Wal-Mart Yesterday.. EVO Lancer Wing from yesteryear, Si Emblem (not a Si) unpainted , fitment needed rear bumper and more stuff was on the front lol

 

That flat black RX-lambo looks BaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaD. Just put a match to it !!!!!!!!!!!

 

If you're going to try to make a rip-off Reventon, why start with an RX-8? The only thing I can think of is that maybe they want to use an RX-8 as a base for performance reasons, but still, it just doesn't make sense to me. Some of the work actually appears pretty good to me so it's not like it's just a total hack job either. My overall opinion is that it totally spoils the beautiful lines of the RX-8 and still doesn't come close to getting it right for a Reventon 'inspired' job either.

Hence why with some editing it could be cool. Right now I think it is 'too much' but the idea of using that 'batmobile' sense of design could work. To me it looks like something in the beginning stages that is to be edited down, even tho that isn't the case, and once edited down can achieve the armored vehicle look while keeping the RX-8 personality.

Personally, I like where I would take it from here.
