^ I think that might have been the intended look...

The sad thing is... I think that could have been a cool look if they had gone with a unique design instead of trying to pull off veyron styling.

Would a bike rack really add SO MUCH downforce that it would be labeled as "excessive"? I think "excessive" is too strong a word to use there. In fact, I'll go out on a limb and suggest that at highway speeds, the downforce from a bike rack on your car is negligible. It might create a bit of drag and lower your mileage, but it also might actually help create a boundary layer and actually improve aerodynamic efficiency - I don't think that would be the case, though I suppose it really depends on the particular car and bike rack combo.
