I almost bought another Civic Sedan before discovering the RX-8, as I wasn't willing to put out the extra money just to have a performance car unless it was something special.

I kept commenting to my wife during shopping, "if they only had 160hp in the sedan... sigh...". Not that I worship HP, but it needed just a little more ooomph to go from being amusing to being FUN. Even so, I came very close to buying one for myself. Had a 160+ hp version been available... I dunno, saving 10K dollars woulda been very tempting.

And FWD, in the right car, is great fun. People who bash it have never driven a CRXsi

 

That's what I'm wondering: if a sedan version will have 160 HP.
