5- 2+2 config
6- wgt as mentioned
7- good visibility
8- better audio and rear view mirror
9-real gauges
10 central tach with digital speedometer
11- a 10 sec 0-100 mph performance level.
12--comes with great tires.
13- easy access oil filter/engine etc.
14- easy access to sparkplugs--or laser sparkplugs

to tell you the truth if they would drop a small 3 rotor into the R3 ( get it?), for me it would be perfect and I would pay in the low 40's for it.
How can it be a 2+2 when the driver is in the center?

It would have t be 1+2.

Are you getting old Denny?

E85 is a cheap alternative compared to racing fuel, but can be much more expensive than regular pump gas. E85 requires a lot more fuel in order to hit those numbers, so efficiency goes down quite a bit. Also, it can be a bit difficult at times to find E85, so that would probably impact sales numbers as well. People don't like to be inconvenienced.

I really only see E85 as a viable fuel for (production) sports cars if it's intended for a very low volume production run or added to vehicles after the fact.
Since 2011 there are so many more Flex Fuel vehicles that came out, I own one myself and would be cool if they can do a flex fuel rotary engine. It'd help with emissions and when Gas goes up then it will be great to be able to run on E-85 and the power difference is really not noticeable to tell you the truth. It is hard to find E-85 in my area however, closest pump is 50 miles away from me near LAX, and that's where I work half the time so when gas is about $1.30 more than E-85... then I'll pump E-85 (due to its lower mpg). In time more stations will start to carry E85. I got a calculator app input fuel prices and tells you price wise what to pump, pretty cool (ToFlexOrNotToFlex.com).

I think its nice to be able to get the same performance from E-85 and be environmentally friendly. Especially since people don't want no electronic motor assist hybrid type (added weight) or ugly prius hybrid shaped vehicle. Flex Fuel vehicles are more advanced since when they first came out. I say its very possible. Another thing that is great is the ability to mix any ratio of E-85 + Gas. We'd pass emissions with no problems. Especially with this new Super Catalyze that was mentioned. I believe engines that are built for Flex Fuel are said to be more "corrosion resistant", I don't know howthat would be a plus to a Flex Rotary design but most likely a plus, no?

Mazda said it would have a 1.6 N/A rotary with about 300hp. Cost about the same as the 370Z and weigh about the same as a GT86

All this sounds perfect to me. going from the above Mazda's target is the 370z

This is easy. Less is more!

-Nice flowing body (so far I like the Kodo designs)
-2 doors
-Nice & simple interior (cloth seats available on all models), driver/driving focused
-1.6L 300Hp
-6 speed manual

The more gadgets you put in, the more stuff that breaks and costs you money.
