1996 Honda Accord Sedan, slammed to the ground, and turn downs about a foot away from the headers.. Insane noise especially when your feathering the clutch at 4k rpms!

First lesson, just a couple of miles and a few starts, was in my brother's '49 Ford. Then I bought my first car, a '58 Alfa Spyder, and continued my education - on the hills of Ithaca, NY.

I have everyone beat. I learned on a brand new 88' Yugo that my grandmother got free when she bought a new caddy in Florida (no ****). I only drove it for a while until I got a Mazda 323.

My body guard taught me to drive an old VW bug that had a combo automatic-stick system that would moo at you when you started it. We would ride up and down this old air strip and he would say, "Clutch, change gears, try not to make that noise, I think I need a beer!"
I then switched over to a Chevette that was stick, but had a shift patern similar to the VW. My old Red 1993 323 Mazda was easy because it also had a very similar pattern....
Also I drove a duce and half (bomb proof) , and an old crackerbox ambulance (that wanted to die at every stop light)... and an old Ford truck (which I hated).
When I first tried out a used 8 it was stick and felt like that Ford truck - I nearly skipped getting one - then I found the Blue 8 - which was automatic-stick - and I love it! I use the little thumb flaps as needed and can relax into mindless automatic the rest of the time...
