A nip here and a tuck there..... damn can't the germans come up with better than copycat styling?

Either way, it's still an improvement over the dorky looking Beetle...

Actually not really. Here in side view you can see it's short, pudgy, not very areodynamic looking esp the front, with a tall rearend. Definitely looks the econobx it is, not the RX-8/Kabura fender-is-at-hood-line styling, with a rakish rear treatment.

Actually the Germans invented the Scirocco in 1976... Long nose, two-door, hatchback styling... Probably penned by the Italians at Karmann Ghia as they've always had pretty good taste in styling. The Scirocco morphed into the Corrado before being killed off economically.

Now that they've got a hot new 2.0T engine to use which is light-weight and high power, they've got the chance to really revive the Scirocco/Corrado concept. Heck, I'd like to see the Kabura (which I like) with the VW 230-hp 2.0T variant powering it! Zoom-zoom my butt!

Yay! Germans finally copying Japanese! Now the Porsche people can shut up about the RX-7 and 924.

Nothing says you're a flaming metrosexual like a new Beetle.

Everytime I see a bug I always try to speed up to take a look at the driver, its usually a cute/hot girl driving it if it is a guy I usually laugh
