Used Aftermarket Bolt ons for old hondas?
Does any one know a place where you can find used/cheap aftermarket bolt on mods for an older (1990) honda accord? I have an old accord and want to spice it up a little with maybe an intake, exhaust, etc. I want a turbo, but I would probably just kill my engine that has 177000 miles on it. Let me know if any of you know where I can get stuff for cheap. Thanks.

Seriously, this is the wrong forum to ask where to find old Honda parts. We honestly wouldn't know much about that. I used to have an '87 Accord and I didn't know of anyone that had any parts for it. I would have had to either make them or adapt them myself. The day the hood flew open at 75 mph on the freeway was the day I decided to get rid of it. No more Accord.

serff, I wasn't admonishing you for improperly posting in the Lounge forum -- I was merely suggesting that you'd probably have a lot more luck finding Honda mod parts in a Honda forum. Geeze.

As an owner of a 88 prelude and an 88 accord I think its fair to say that you should save your money and not worry about modding your 90 accord. You will never be able to make your car noticeably faster without adding a turbo which would probably kill your engine and cost 3X what the car is worth. You could do nitrous for like $400-$500 which could potentially give you a burst of speed now and then. Intake and exhaust will make your car probably sound better (louder) but there will not be significant gains in performance for the kind of money you are laying down. Basically all parts for these cars have been discontinued now anyways...

Cool, thanks KC. I think this is what I am finding now. I looked for inteakes on ebay and there are some for like $30, but they are probably crappy quality and cheap aluminum. So you are right, i would have to spend like $100+ for something decent there and that isn't worth it to me. And about the turbo...that is just a dream... hehe. I'm savin my money for my 8.
thanks for the feedback.
