Anyway, Im freaking **** off now.

I found the cheapest place to get a Yaris, they have the config that I want but NOT my color of choice, I want Blazing Blue, they only have it in Bayou.

I emailed them my License and Insurance info before they will *Start* looking for a car

The sales guy said finding the car is easy, and as soon as he *Found* one, he will email me with all the spec and stuff just to be sure that thats the one that I want.

I suppose to Go pick it up this coming saturday...

Ok now, 3 days has gone since I last heard from him, no car info, nothing.

I emailed him last night saying that *I want the car to be in the Lot BEFORE I hit the road, I will ONLY take the car with the Config and Color that I told you before, nothing else*, no words back from him yet.

I got pretty ****** and start reading dealership reviews all over the web, it seems that this dealership has been pulling customers like that all the time, like tell the customer that they *Will* have the car when they're there. but end up nothing, and tries to force customers to take whatever they have on the lot.

Now I kinda regret that I sent my info over so quickly. but doesnt matter.

Now I start looking at another dealership, found another one that has the car in stock, very friendly, used to live in my neighborhood in NYC, willing to even pick me up at the Bus terminal if I decided to get the car from him. the price of the car is about the same as most other dealerships I've quote before. Around 13.5K

Speaking of the price, I think its kinda too good to be true, Everyone else is selling it below invoice I know, but this dealership is like almost 2K under invoice, compare to the other which is only a few hundred bux.

I dont think I should take a chance by *going down south to get the car* and hope that they will have it by saturday.

Ok, Just got a reply back from them, they say they have the car and gave me the list of specs, same as what I want.

but they're selling the car over 1K under invoice, which is kinda *its too good to be true* IMO. while most of the dealer will not budge anything lower than invoice.

Should I true them ? -_-

I've had a Yaris hatchback for almost 2 years now as my daily driver. It's a great little car if you don't mind the fact that there is "no" power when you need it. The big selling points for me were that it was cheap, and that no one would really want to steal it or think it's worth anything when I leave it parked over night at the commuter train station near my work.

I've never had a problem with it and it happens to get pretty good gas milage. The down side is that the horn sounds like a buzzing bee and I'm almost ashamed to honk it when I need to because I'm sure the person I'm honking at is laughing at the ridiculousness of the sound.

LOL, you need to equip it with fog horn or something. I'm glad the 8 actually has a meaty horn as some of the previous Mazda's I had gave off a neeit neeit... which doesn't do much for a road rage display of anger.

On some Yaris forum, they said that the paint are like so cheap probably 1 layer or something, its so easy to chip, and people are thinking of filing a lawsuit...

Well I think you get what you paid for. I mean my 30K RX8 still chips. Imagine a sub 15K car going to be :ekk:

Now that you mention it; Yes, the paint chips easily. Like you said you get what you pay for. Since I only paid $14K with the options I got, I won't complain too much. One thing that I really love about driving the Yaris: Jumping in my '8 afterward.

man ... I was *sooooo fuxking* **** yesterday.

I decided to go and *get the damn car*.

So yesterday I woke up at like 4 am .... after got thru all the Trouble (I want to say that GreyHound services fuxking SUCKS!!!!!! made me wait almost 2 & 1/2 hours for NOTHING!!!!) I got to the dealership almost at 3 pm ...

I checked with experian before I go and Im pretty sure Im ok ... then at the dealership they checked me using Equifax .... OMG ... basically speaking for some *weird reasons* my brother's Car loan and some of his credit cards went INTO my credit report ... grrr ... the worst thing is that, that moron forgot to pay some of them which made me look REALLY bad ................. Toyota only use Equifax and their *call center* is closed on weekends ... GRRRRRRRRR .... so no financing. and I have had no cash in hand ..... GAY ....

I wanted to just pay the damn thing with Cash but all banks were closed that time ..........

So I came home empty handed ....

I ran my own credit check yesterday and look thru everything.

I was like. WOW ....

On Equifax, my brother's name & SSN is in MY name & SSN. so 2 names, 2 SSN, all in my account.

I have no idea how they screwed it up like this. 2 names fine I can live with that, but I have another SSN in MY SSN ? How did THAT even happen ?

Transunion messed something up too but not as bad. and I already filed a report online and tell them to *FIX THESE FREAKING MESS*

Equifax does not even allow online dispute, I have to send it thru slow mail. Freaking retards.

Experian got everything right. phew.

How did my brother's messed up crap got into my report? I have zero clue. I think Equifax & Transunion are being run by monkeys which cant even tell between 2 different person's info. they probably saw us having a very similar name and put us together, bunch of retards.

Yeah, I am thinking is this really a *sign* ??? ...

SX4 is ok IMO, but if their dealerships werent a dick I could've got 1 already.

WOW ! JUST WOW !

I got all my money, Ready to go down south today to get the Yaris UNTIL LAsT NIGHT AROUND 7 PM.

The dealership's Sales Manager Called and say that "OH, Sorry we just found out that the car that you want has been *SOLD*, We still have another 2 in stock, its the exact same car just different color, it will be the same price as before since you already locked into nlah blah blah..."

I was about to give him some F word but I was like I will call him back.

They have the lowest price out of all dealerships, they probably try to make it back from the *high interest* financing, after they found out that I cant get any financing from them (Thanks to my bro, actually), they start giving me all these crap. Cuz the price they're selling the car is at LEAST 1.2K lower than the other dealership are willing to sell.

Im going to write to Toyota, write on dealership reviews, and BBB about this dealership's business practices. Argh !

They said they've *sold* the car I want, when I was there last week, I saw the one they have on the Lot, it looks like it has been there at least couple of weeks, with bird crap on and stuff. I mean that color is not that bad. but its not my 1st color of choice. If they're not dick heads like that I can take that no problem. but now. Dont even expect me to put a penny down to that fuxking dealership

In the mean time ! Im very unhappy about Toyota and seriously considering a FIT now. POS TOYOTA !~

Funny thing is, if I type my SSN, my name will not even come up, its just say record not found. but when I put my Brother's SSN, MY SSN will show up with HIS information AND HIS SSN under My record. wtf is that?

IMO I'd get the SX4.
I know for 1 thing the Yaris has very cheap paint the chips off easy. So if you get a yaris get 1 in white or something. The people that have them seem to love them besides the paint thing.

On the SX4 side people love them also and the warrenty is very good. It also uses a motor that has been around for a while.

Opinions are opinions I've been looking into these same 2 cars for a while now for a second car.

I sealed a deal on a Honda FIT Sport yesterday.

Will pick up the car on Wednesday.

Not up to the financing part yet. but if it goes thru without any questions, that means that fuxking toyota dealer just trying to rip me off in High % interest rate to being with, once they failed, they start giving me **** & dont want me to get the car.

Woo hoo! I'm sure you'll like it. C&D was amazed at its slalom ability. The Fit is light years more fun to drive than the Yaris.

That's a pretty good deal considering Fits are so in demand and you'll have good resale. Glad that things worked out. Please post pics!
