I think Toyoda is talking about World-Wide spare Capacity not just the USA...they have more plants outside the US than in.

Personally, I don't believe Toyota's 'quality or reliability' is any better than any other Japanese brand..provided it is MADE IN Japan.

Service and Support can depend so much on where you live, remember Dealerships are not owned/controlled by Toyota or 99.9% of any car brand...to me if you have a good quality brand of car which is reliable, then you have little need to visit a dealer...apart from servicing of corse..."what an oil and filter change"...that is real hard.

As most of Us know the secret is to find a competent Dealer when something does go wrong.

Even Toyoda said Toyota had become Too BIG...
