Top/5th Gear Videos

Does anybody know where I can find some top gear or preferrably 5th gear videos of car reviews? Usually fun to watch and as far as I know I am unable to get either of the shows here in the US.

I have like the mclaren episode, an enzo short one, the rx8, and the cc. That is about it. Also kazaa does not work with my computer (and yes I know how to navigate firewalls etc). I don't trust it either as it gave my last computer a virus and caused it to crash so I had to reformat it. I am talking like webpages. Plus the fastest I have ever gotten a Kazaa download (this was on a T1 network) was 26kb/s, and some of the 50mb or so files would take forever. Webpages usually go at like 160kb/s though.

Here's a ripper site with a lot of archived Top Gear and Fifth Gear videos on it:

http://gear.viper007bond.com/

- edit -

Looks like things have changed a bit on that site and I can't seem to download any of them... I got the rx8 Top Gear video and some others from here a while ago but the site has changed since then... Looks like it's set up for an archive of the videos but it's a bit unclear to me how/if/when they might be downloadable again....

They're trying to use bittorrent for distribution and it's taking them some time to get it up. But once it's up, it should be good though since everything will be through bittorrent - so people can leech a bit off of each other while downloading the same file.

Yeah, the trouble I had was finding a site with videos that worked. I found quite a few sites but the videos didn't work and basically all ftp links i've found were dead. Boostaddict looks like it should keep me occupied for a while

Just download iMesh.

I have probably 40-50 episodes of top gear on my computer and they all have worked pretty well after I updated my codec's.

It's basically just KaZaa if you guys haven't heard of it... so just go to iMesh.com and download it.

Hope this helps,

Brit

you should consider putting some of those in a torrent file and linking them on here.

www.sleepy-fish.com usually covers most of the good reviews on Top Gear as well. From what I found my computer became infested with spyware when I downloaded a bittorent client and I burned all my videos to a DVD and had to format, it was that bad. Anyone know of a good client with no spyware?

viper topgear site rocks!

Vuk, a poomy, has a digital connection and have excellent DivX codec video.

That makes me more likely to share my bandwidth. I am on unlimited plan anyway.
Download the bitorrent client and off you go.

I saw the video update yesterday and it is from the 23.11 (topgear) and 24.11 (5thgear)!

Enjoy!

Well one more thing..

If more people sharing the video, the bittorrent will go faster, especially if you are close geographically. So common the fellow Australians

I've used Azureus without any problems. It's an active open source project. The interface is slick, it supports SafePeer IP filtering, and automatic updates.

I never thought it was down. It has been running since viper started to use bittorrent. Vuk is the person doing the digital recording and you can see the download on late Sunday for Top Gear and late Monday night for 5th gear.

No, there was suspicion that the guys internet host had thought it was illegal and kicked him off, but it turns out only a server error. This is after it went bittorent.
