Professional Bicyclists from all over the country come here to train in the warm, thin high altitude conditions here all year long, to prepare themselves for competitions in other areas of the country/world.
As a sports car driver, and a motorcyclist, I get into exchanges of unpleasantries with them on way to frequent of a basis for my tastes. When I'm on my motorcycle, they get a warning honk when they are blocking a curve, and then I ride right through their pack if they've upset me long enough. They really don't like that.
Not all are bad, but for some reason, when there's a pack of spandex wearing brightly colored morons on bicycles, the stupid seems to come out in them.

Come to Colorado for a week, and spend some quality time in and around Denver, Boulder, Louisville, Superior, Broomfield, Arvada, Westminster, and any of the canyon roads in the Foothills, and you will see groups of bicyclists hogging the whole road, and throwing things at cars on a daily basis, and much much worse on the weekends.

I get it. (And for the record, I rode for 19 years. My bike was real quiet, though (Honda GT 650). Loud bikes really anger non-Harley owners. Not that what bothers non-Harley owners matters.)
But seriously, I think we can all agree that jerks on any kind of wheels – bicycles, motorcycles, cars, skateboards, blades – tend to be selfish ********. And nobody cares for that.

Well I can understand where they're coming from, riding bikes motorized or not is dangerous. I generally give both types of bikes a wide birth. But just because you're doing 25 mph on a bicycle and you're in a large pack doesn't mean you can hog the entire road, you need to be courteous and let faster traffic pass safely.
Another part of it is the pack mentality. People tend to act more aggressive and outgoing in a pack than they normally would by themselves. For instance, you're more likely to call somebody an a**hole if you've got 5 buddies behind you saying "Yeah that guy's an a**hole, don't let him get away with that."

there are couple of highways that u can go 55 without killing our 8
just gotta be careful cuz they lowered the speedlimit to 50 on most of these nicer roads, and cops have been pulling people over for doing 55. hey Bloomberg gotta balance budget, right?

NY is garbage. I hate it. I just got pulled over for two speeding tickets in the last 5 weeks. For DOING 70 MPH!!! And i was going with the flow of traffic. Cops must have red car syndrome.... My first speeding tickets in 7 years. That doesnt include the 4 times ive been pulled over in the last 8 weeks for my red parking lights. I went years without a problem...now all of a sudden they are attracted to me like magnets.
Honestly... i cannot wait to leave this pitiful state.

if she got run over on the side walk then its 100% drivers fault, otherwise, I'm not going to say who is right unless i witness the whole incident, gotta know both side of the story u know.
i drive almost 12 hours everyday now so i am fairly sure i know how nyc people and cyclist deal with the roads ...
