I think the front of the 370z looks really girly.
But it's still better looking than the 350z, but all together I would rather buy a g37 or a g35 because they look much nicer and have a better interior.

Sure read this thread and note the latest Road and Track dustup between the 370Z and Porsche Cayman S...
"An observation we made over the week was the VQ's sensitivity to temperature. Engines prefer cool weather, but the VQ absolutely detests hot days. During the track day, we had to pit after about four laps in each session, the VQ winded by high oil temps and limited by its engine management to 6500 rpm."
...for a first person account ... "First track experience today ! Some good, some really bad " here..

Overheating while being pushed is not a very good thing for a sportscar to have.

Test drove it this afternoon. Initial impressions of the car are very good quality wise. Compared to the old 350z, the interior dashboard and gauges don't look like it came out of a fisher price truck. They have a nice feel to them, although the buttons feel like they were yanked off the new Maxima. The doors opened and closed with a nice weight to them, and didn't sound cheap when they latched. The trunk space is greatly improved since they moved the bar forward behind the seats.
Ergonomics were on par with the RX-8. The steering wheel actually had a better feel to it than my car... The downside of the overall driving of the car was the clutch though. The clutch felt like it had been taken from something Nissan made in the 1980s. Just had no feel to it whatsoever. It took the entire 15 minute test drive to finally get used to the thing and set the proper driving position to engage it correctly. The feel of the gearbox was better than the old 350z by a landslide, but Nissan still needs to fix that clutch feel.
Much better motor than the old 350z as well, with a strong pull from low rpms all the way to redline. The shift lights when you approach 7500 rpm are a nice touch too. The car's brakes are very, very good, I can easily see why this thing stops in just over 100 feet from 60 mph. The grip from the mediocre tires (RE050 A's) was actually far better than I thought. Bumps from the road no longer made your spine twinge as well, and the feedback from the chassis/steering was outstanding.
I didn't get to test the synchrorev feature though, just a manual touring model with nav. The best way to describe the new Z is a "baby G37", which is a VERY good compliment. The touring model didn't have full leather surfaces as well, only side bolsters. The dealer didn't actually know if you could get full leather as an option.

Are your comparing it by it's ride comfort and interior amenities? In that respect I would agree, about time the Z got some comfort. As from a performance standpoint? Not even close imho. The G35 felt so much better.
Don't own a 370z (just a test drive), but my wife drives a 08 G37s. Anyhow it's all immaterial anyway, as their both siblings.

I'm curious as to way you think of it as a "baby G37" ? Other than sharing it's engine, 7AT and maybe the nav screen. 2 totally different cars. Though I would say the G35 and 350z were pretty close.

The G37's overall interior look is far better, but the cars feel different driving. The 370z just feels much better than the G37. The 370z to me felt small and nimble, where as the exterior dimensions of the G37 coupe felt like I was driving a battleship.
I don't own either though, as I have just test driven both. If Nissan can get that clutch design on the 370z, it would be pretty damn near perfect.
In summation: I'll be waiting until I can test drive the Camaro SS manual in 3 weeks.
