The main UGLY is the front IMHO. The side view has nice lines - but the front is unbelieveable. The rear is OK - not many cars have nice asses - although just lowering the window would improve it. John
PS Engine would have to be almost midships.

That concept car was released just about a year ago. Not really an imitation of an RX8 per se. It would have been in the design phases at the same time as the RX8.
Turbo Flat 6, almost 400hp, AWD.

Not bad from the side... looks a lot like a taller RX-8... note the freestyle, um I mean "subaru-style" rear doors. Don't mind the butt end either. But MAN, that front end is not just ugly, it's FUGLY!!! Other than that, s'ok.

When is subaru going to start designing some cars with decent looks. Besides the amazing longlastingness, powerfulness, SubaruAWDpower, looks kill practically any stock subaru....why???!!! I'm sure they can get some people with the stylistic side of their brain equal to the incredible genius side behind the omnipotent AWD. Personally, I think it's uGly. But don't pay too much attention to it, 1/7 concepts look friggin weird, and most of them never hit the road...

I think if they just got rid of all that plastic molding it would improve the car greatly.

I guess at least the proportions of the car are somewhat in sync...not!
Never been a fan of Subaru design, definitely not, after seeing this one.
Seems the designers ran out of ideas and borrowed design concepts from the current batch of Jap cars.
Still might sell a few, if it has massive power and patented all wheel drive grip.... just look at the WRX, that's no Mona Lisa.

but the new legacy makes the final step forward that the past two generations did not... stepped past the "level" that the Impreza sits at to a more "luxury" level. Basically... i think the new legacy looks more classy than past models. I think it'll be well work people's time to take a look at the turbo model when it arrives in the US.
