At least the big-wigs at Speed have a little bit of sense left.

 

I hope this is a sign of things to come at speed, I find amazing what has hapeng on that chanel, sometimes there are races going on an you turn to speed and theres a re-run of a very old show like unique whips or something or a movie fron the 70's.

New episodes of Unique Whips, Pinks, and some show called Redline started airing 2 weeks ago on Wedensday Nights.

New episodes of Dream Car Garage and Sports Car Reveolution started airing around the same time (if you can stand the hosts).

Grand-Am cup series is on-going with 2 hour coverage last Saturday that showed several RX-8 entrants (including one that was on fire).

Star Mazda Series, a few other things, then the rest is Nascar or Nascar related.

 

i like the channel and think its on the upswing- every once in a while you do get an older thing though so its kind of funny- but as is most cable networks since they all re air stuff....

they air motorweek on saturday mornings which is a cool show

 

Anything but NASCAR. Rumor has it WRC will be back shortly too.

 

What's with the states and their NASCAR???? It boggles my mind to think that people can stare at a whole nascar race.....I can only stand to watch the last 5 laps.

 

I dunno. Doesn't look like their NASCAR programming will be rolled back anytime soon. Every time I check SPEED's programming schedule it seems to be increasingly peppered with NASCAR related crap.

 

nascar races pay the bill guys, as much as I dont like nascar it is the most famous in the US

 

Nascar's ok but I like track style racing.

 

I'm also going to have to get cable and tivo now.

Same thing happened last year. We missed the first couple of events while they were negociating a contract.

 

Wasn't there a race this past weekend? My DVR didn't pick anything up on Speed for it.
