Smoked -- by a scooter

The Dodge Razor concept was designed with input from the people who make those kick scooters. The Razor has a 2.4 liter, 250 hp turbo engine, and base price is projected to be around $14,000!

It comes pretty stripped, interior-wise, though.

Yea. It should go faster than the SRT-4. They are just speculating.

But how will it sell - "the Razor offers the necessities for driving, nothing more. No power windows or mirrors, no radio or leather power seats, no frills whatsoever. Dodge Razor offers its two occupants lightweight, competition-style seats, four-point racing harnesses, storage behind their seats and the pure joy of driving."

Why don't they tack on the $2k to the price and add daily driving amenities or just make it an option like the evo? Too early anyhow, they might not even produce it.

I like the 1960s styling, but I'm not crazy about the back end.

This car has been rumored for a very long time (was at the 02 Detroit autoshow)... We'll see but I doubt it makes it to production.

It's a really old concept car, like Ike says. I was *really* interested in buying one, and I wrote Chrysler a year ago to find out what ever happened to it. They replied that they presently have no plans to produce the car.

My $0.02

I was under the impression that THIS might be the next thing from Dodge. Although it may end up being the 'little brother' to the Razor ultimately. I like the design of this better than the razor and I think it would be awesome/funny to see this coming down the road next to an S2K and then have it rocket it forward with 250horses leaving the Honda with it's jaw on the floor.

:D :D :D

I see what you mean about the tires.

I like the removable roof. I could get into a lot of troouble with a car like that.

It's a Dodge 'Slingshot'; concept slated for 3 cyl (?) and 100bhp, kinda pointless if you ask me...

But as I said earlier, 250 horses instead would be in the words of 'Napoleon Dynamite' .... "SWEET!"

:D :D :D

$14k is a pure fantasy -- since it was only a showcar and DC never had any plans to actually produce it, they can make up whatever number they want.

^^ True. The windshield on the concept didn't meet standards, and a production car would need safety equipment that would add to the price -- and weight.

^^I would say an audi TT, a crossfire, and a mr2 made sweet love to produce that thing. I think they should have used a condom myself :D
