That's an old video and has been mentioned and debated many times on this forum. Also, that's not and STi, it's a WRX.

I just can't get over how easily the rx8 steered through the corners while the g35 looked to be in a constant state of oversteer.

I just can't get over how easily the G pulled on the RX-8 which looked to be in a constant state of being overpowered.

Ah the old rotary reborn best motoring video. Yes the 8 gets bitchslapped but I am still not convinced the guy was driving it to its full potential because he seemed to not be redlining it that much. The miata, arguably the most "fun" car to drive in the race finished dead, dead, last. What does that say?

I dunno, what exactly does that say?

Oh yeah, the S2000 is the most fun car ro drive in the race, and it won, too.

uumm.... That it's a video of a staged race by some trolls. He also seems to be more interested in talking ( which by the way is a lot) than driving!

Oops I forgot little gan san in the S2000. You are right, I stand corrected. I never know if you can really extrapolate anything from the best motoring races. Half the time they are too busy trying too show you how cool this new ACD or ACY or LSD or whatever is that they don't do any actual competetive racing. That and they blabber on and on about their stupid opinions instead of just testing the cars more thouroughly.

Am I crazy... or does the guy in the 8 shift way too low -- as demonstrated off the line in the first 30 seconds. You can't see the tach, but the revs seems way too low to me. If he drove it that way the entire race, the outcome seems predictable.
