Just make an RX9 with suicide doors and a RX7 without and smaller..

Or, how about they do a 4 door called RX8 and make it a touch less boy racer so some more serious spenders might consider it (Against Infiniti G35, BMW 3 series, Lexus IS etc) and a light affordable 2 door called RX7 with a turbo version available as well.

Paul. The 4 door part of the 8 is a very strong an unique selling/marketing Idea that works.. I wonder if we could see two variants a 4 and 2 door. I will say this again..IMO the market has been "SCREAMING" out for a light weight Rotary Roadster.....RX-5 DON'T YOU LISTEN MAZDA!! |

Paul. here in EU there is a lot of "market space" for this kind of cars. (BTW the car could be also piston powered BUT with FR layout, not FF...;)) |
Ahh, the blinding speed and smoothness of a sequential twin clutch vs the coordinated joy of a well executed heel/toe manual shift. The place I'd pick the sequential is if I did a lot of in town, stop and go driving, or did a lot of tracking (God cant heel/toe a short shift kit as fast as a twin clutch paddle shift can); on the other hand, manual trannys are well known, understood, and a lot simpler and cheaper to maintain.
