This is not a jet engine - just look a the exhaust nozzle. It's not variable (it should be, regarding the afterburner), in fact it's just a piece of cheaply bent sheet metal featuring a gap.
By the way, a jet engine running in reheat mode (i.e. at maximum thrust + whatever the AB delivers, but usually 50% on top) would simply propel that little car off the road.

Ive seen this guy before he created an MR2 as well a eclipse, both with jet engines. He sold them on ebay.

I didn't pay $2000 dollars for my 5hp, I was smart and bought the Turbonator and the Tornado. I was the first to have a custom RX-8 TT.
